- Texas performing Summer Son on Barrowland Ballroom on 16th of June. Recorded on BBC Radio Scotland and Radio 2 for BBC Music Day with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, who they own the rights of the video.
Those bells and trumpets on the chorus is amazing along with the band too

This is the beauty of the good music. The wind instruments simulating the bells part, the strings keeping an amazing background at the end...Only good songs can be followed so harmoniously and given a new life by orchestras. Thanks for uploading the video and great life to Texas!

Я тоже так считаю!!!!! Знакома с группой Texas и с Шарлин Спитери примерно с 15-16 лет (то есть, уже 20 лет), и по сей день лично для меня эта группа не теряет актуальности!!!! Все тот же сильный и красивый голос Шарлин и по сей день! Представляете, а какой-то хрен в Контакте в комментариях к оригинальному клипу на эту песню (Summer Son) назвал Шарлин "страшидлой"??!!! Моему возмущению просто не было предела!!! Как по мне, так Шарлин во все времена просто красавица!!! Да ещё и с мега-стильной прической!!!

Это вы про ее внешность, что она уже не такая молодая и свежая как была в 90-е гг? Ну, да, с возрастом все стареют, к сожалению... никто не молодеет... Но голос у нее как и раньше - сильный!!! В 50 лет в принципе неплохо выглядит и по сцене с гитарой еще скачет.

Да. Жаль, что они в Россию никогда с концертами не приезжают((. Как-то обидно. Тусуются постоянно во Франции... Франция их с самого начала очень хорошо приняла и продолжает принимать. Ну, а если честно, то в России мало кто знает про эту прекрасную шотландскую группу, а зря. У Шарлин очень сильный голос, довольно редкий для женщин. И репертуар у них очень классный! Очень жаль, что до России они никогда не доезжают.
