Some consider it a revelation, others attribute mystical qualities to it; those suspicious of it, say it is nothing but a random thought without reason backing it. Intuition is more than simply knowledge and subconscious response. It can also be your soul's response to energy ;) even in situations where your subconscious mind has no previous programming we can get a sense about the vibration in the energy and get a feeling image in our mind. Having a deja vu is a prime example of this.
Thank you for writing in but not sure why one would consider this a valid hypothesis. The terms are all unknown. A basic principle of education is that we learn by going from the known to the unknown. When our starting point it unknown, we only disguise ignorance in flowery language. Let's all think with brutal rationality until the truth dawn's on us🙏
The same theory still stands that it’s digested knowledge. What you call “energy” and “vibes” is a former knowledge that certain types of personalities/characteristics are negative or more positive, or more likely to do a certain action, etc…. You’ve digested the knowledge so well that you pick up on it easily and we just culturally dismiss it as a “vibe” a person gives off. This is still a digested knowledge like the video says, but I’d say it’s so common that we all know what it means (good or bad energy) because we are social creatures and pick up on these things from the second we are born.

That "knowledge" she speaks of has its ground in Being Itself. There is no one to have an intuition. It is non-local and has nothing to do with the thinker, the thought and thinking until it arises entirely FROM the one consciousness we all share - just like all else we appear to experience. This bit of wisdom sounds like something the dualistic and materialistic neurologists say.
I’ve had a series of intuitions about kundalini yoga, all bec of my unrelenting passion to figure out the symbols in the seven chakras, which I have now fully elucidated. Could that be digested knowledge?

What does it mean when you keep seeing see Someone name and keep seeing her ? I keep seeing the same girl everywhere on tv on book ect it’s driving me crazy
I think intuition comes from self reflecting. I often thought isolating myself was just how i behaved but ive realized the self isolation has made me reflect on situations so much that now im very intuitive and i can sense and feel emotions,detect lying and even know if someone is a good or bad person. But this feeling is also very overwhelming especially in crowds. Trying to read 300 people at 1 time makes me sick and i often have to isolate myself some way just for a minute or 2 just to keep calm. I often get deja vu quite frequently and it terrifies me.
It is true that intuition comes from reflection. Reflection make us digest knowledge and that flashes back as intuition.

Thank you for sharing this video to clarify what is intuition (digested knowledge) with examples and self analysis to read if it is intuition or a just a random thought.
With regards to digested knowledge e.g mother intuitively knows what his/her child needs are because from past experience or knowledge,but if this is her 1st child ,how would the mother have any knowledge in this present moment,therefore is it possible that the mother carried knowledge and experience from her PREVIOUS birth which manifested as intuition in this birth .
Even with reference to the first child she has spent considerable time thinking of it, being with the child etc. So she could have digested knowledge with reference to the first child too.

One small argument:
But flash of digested knowledge can also be from previous life. It may be bit problem for christian and muslim to believe in previous life or next life. However, in 21st century top scientists like psychologist and neuroscientist are accepting something called a consciousness besides mind.
For the purpose of understanding intuition, it may not be necessary to accept the concept of a previous life. We can understand it as this moment backwards.
Muslim believe that our souls lived one more life before this life, in Alam e Arwah.

Depends on your definition of aparosha. That which cannot be known through the senses could be thoughts, vasanas and Self. So intuition could be included.

You are so right. Yes, it is far better to think carefully, and occasionally consult those who know better, before performing actions.
If we keep doing this, then some times, occasionally, the intellect will guide us instantly. That's like a bonus we get.
Is intuition knowledge beyond the senses and sensorial impressions, though it may be a digested like and dislike.
How to understand knowledge is intuitive or through sensorial impressions.
There are 3 ways of gaining knowledge besides the senses- inference, comparison and authority.
Regardless of the source from which the knowledge came to us, if we digest that knowledge, it comes forth as intuition.
How we distinguish whether it comes from the senses or not is by analysis. If we got it from seeing, hearing, tasting, smelling or touching it is from the senses. If we thought beyond the sense-perception, inference etc.

Yes, that's true. But it's called wisdom only if it pertains to higher values. When it's with reference to more mundane matters, it's called intuition
I think intuition is much bigger than this.Sometimes there are things which do not require any knowledge like going to someone or some place and many other things unrealted to any knowledge.And we do get intuition regarding that as well.That action may harm us or may be beneficial.But then my doubt is do intuition really has to be knowledge only.Knowledge is good part of it i agree but then other things??
The other part is the digestion of the information. Mere information won't give intuition. It has to be digested knowledge. And it will always be correct if it is really intuition.
Btw, even when one goes to a new place or new experience, we may go with some digested knowledge. This will help us in new situations too because basic principles are applicable across many fields or many areas.
@@TeamJankiSantoke It may be the knowledge .however sometimes for certain actions it may not be the knowledge that one actually knows that "I have this knowledge". Person in the first place may not be knowing he has the knowledge of this particular thing .It will be trouble at those points.I think it must have other deeper dimensions.

I have question, the day before yesterday I had a feeling like my cat will deliver her babys in that day coz of the little strange behaviors I noticed of her and my grandma is a great cat lover , when I told her that about this thing that the cat will do her deliver today at first she believed me and she even came to see the cat to our house , and she was agreeng to my opinion but after a few moments she experienced cat's behavior by her own and the cat was like playing around and did stuff like that ,due to that behavior she noticed, she told me and Mom that she doesn't think that the cat is going to have a delivery today , she said cat is in a playful behavior , even though cat's behavior was like that I got that strong feeling that cat will deliver the babies for sure in that day , my feeling didn't change & my feeling came true , she delivered the babies during mid the night of that day. My question is the feeling that I strongly felt was intuition?
Sounds more like an inference since you based it on the cat's strange behaviour.

It's comes from reflection. Having put in much thought into it. It may or may not take many years. Sometimes, even after many years, people may not put in sufficient thought into their experiences so will not have a deeper understanding of those experiences.

What is the difference between intuition and instinct ?
Instinct is used used for the more physical abilities and intuition for the higher facilities. But essentially they are the same

So intuition and digested knowledge can't be the same, as repeatedly stated in the Video.

When we can sense danger ,something not right .that would be intuition? Like a mother would get a gut feeling that her child is not well or a diagnosis by a doctor is wrong ?
The yardstick would always be: is it likely that I have some digested knowledge about this? Else not every sense of danger or ill health is correct
@@TeamJankiSantoke yes knowledge comes from being alert , mindful , aware . I have experienced that gut feeling , it saved my babies eyes but the down side is that it made me lose trust in our doctors. I’m not saying they are bad ( just overworked) and they do have a lot of knowledge and that knowledge comes with a lot of arrogance. And to resist that authority comes from something higher .

At what age intuition comes? Do people from 15-17 get intuition?
I really enjoyed listening to this but I disagree. When a baby is born it latches on to the mother's breast with no previous experience of how to do this, having been fed through the placenta for 9 months. So I disagree that intuition is simply digested knowledge as suggested here. Instead it is something innate and natural that we as human beings are gifted with. We do of course make many decisions based on digested knowledge, but that is not intuition. Intuition is with us at birth and we can cultivate it throughout our lives into something powerful. Thanks for the video though and for making me think.

Not sure what your example proves. Are you suggesting that you got somewhere without any directions? Or that you followed the directions well? When we reach somewhere is it because of intuition? Can we never stumble upon something?

Mam ,with due respect I don't think what you said about intuition is right.You claimed intuition to be digested knowledge ,this is not intuition .This is more of diffused mind solving Or tackling any situation .But intuition is beyond knowledge ,logic , amalgamation of pre requisite knowledge .
For eg Einstein, their was no knowledge of theory of relativity but intuition had come to Einstein beyond his knowledge ,and other people knowledge then he crossed check his intuition at every step and proposed theory of relativity . Intuition is beyond knowledge . Ramanujan's mathematical work is Intuition where it had come from no body knows.Intution is divine computation ,But the problem is ,we often mislead some random thought with intuition and then we say always cross check you Intuition ,what we have to cross-check is thought ,real intution is elternal truth that is witnessed in calm ,meditative , attentive mind and perceived through heart as a feeling ,It will not come from mind ,it will come as a feeling that will guide to correctify you thoughts , belief , knowledge and then you will expand the horizons of your knowledge .And with this knowledge you can play ,prove other things ,manifest different structure with intermixing ideas from knowledge .Idea is not always truth but we can play with it and create various things also other than we expect.If something meaningful would come from playing with idea we call it invention .But intuition is more of a discovery .

Totally Disagree with this definition. intuition to me is Vibrance of Activated Sushumna nadi (developed by Satvik Sadhana) supplied into the Mind (mostly this sense relates to its applications into physical world but one has to transcend beyond this level ). its not the previously digested knowledge for sure.

@@TeamJankiSantoke We all hold an animating inner body within which animates the body. It’s made out of God particle which is all knowing and all seeing. It’s the soul. Each time it shoots up a message that is in regards to our guidance of path and purpose we feel it in our guts. This information goes straight into our heart and we actually can hear it through feeling and not thinking and this is called intuition. Our heart then shoots up this information to the mind for us to turn this information into an action and this is called acting upon intuition. Intuition does not come from digested knowledge or the mind but rather from intuitive knowing beyond reasoning .. this information is only locked up in our soul or the messenger which knew it all even when we were a month old baby. This notion is entirely different than what is spoken in the video. Intuition is a heart philosophy and phenomenon and not the mind or sub conscious mind phenomenon that is based on prolonged digested knowledge. With all respect.. this is why I disagree.

Both give an explanation of the sudden feeling we get and which turns out to be true. If we have to decide which explanation is more aligned to the truth, we must accept a basis for it. If logic is our basis, then, as the first step, we need to begin with known factors. We cannot start with something unknown. Hence we cannot start a logical thought flow with saying that there is some animating thing within which tells us.

There are seen and unseen aspect of reality what cannot be seen can only be felt in a gut. Truth has its own like magic. It pierce through all things and settle within the system. Truth is to be decided through your audience and reader. I will leave it up to them rather than argue the matter based on known factors. I will let them read both notions and let them take what resonate with them as truth and what appears to be just a theory.
