I have an honest question. I tried making a macrame pod but I've always wondered, if they get dusty or dirty, (for example you used a very nice light color for this bag) what is the best method any of you have tried to wash/clean macrame products? Just hand wash or just soak in warm water? I'm guessing no machine use? Thank you!

Please advise you used 4 strings for handles length 650cm. But strings in the middle are not used in knotting. You advised to leave at least 150cm for the body, but other 2 out of 4 will be much much longer. Can we do (150+28/30)*2=360cm only instead of 650? I do not like wasting...

I tend to use enough rope.
The reason is that each company
has a different thickness of rope.
Even if the rope gets a little thicker
when you make a work,
the rope may not be enough.

if it's made of 2mm rope..😂
If you want to use a 3mm rope,
you need longer cords.
Make 5 square knots,
then untie them again
to calculate the length

Usually, It requires 5 to 6 times
the finished size.
But because it is used
by folding it in half,
it actually needs 10 to 12 times.
For accurate measurement,
you can make one pattern
and calculate the length
of the cord reduced.
