We are back in Poland. In today's video we will discover a new place in Poland. We’ve made our way up into the Tatra Mountains in the south of Poland to a town called Zakopane. Zakopane is well known for being a great winter destination in Poland particular for outdoor activities and sports such as skiing, sledding and snowboarding. The beautiful mountain town of Zakopane is in the far south of Poland, within the Tatra mountains. Also known for the scenic hike to the famous lake Morskie Oko in the middle of the Tatra mountains. Zakopane was a beautiful place to visit and we highly recommend anyone to go there if you are going to Poland.
ABOUT ZAKOPANE Zakopane is a resort town in southern Poland, at the base of the Tatras Mountains. It’s a popular departure point for winter sports and summertime mountain climbing and hiking. Kasprowy Wierch and Gubałówka, reachable by cable car and funicular, are nearby ski destinations offering sweeping mountain views. The town is also known for its turn-of-the-20th-century wooden chalets, symbols of Zakopane-style architecture.

At the beginning of the video you say „Zakopane” perfect!
It is remarkable how dull Poland develops, given that it was only in 1990 that they defeated communism.
Zakopane isn't a good example - even under commies it was fancy and developed place. But you've right - all country changed a lot ever since.
We'we lost our independence a few times once for a 100 Years so getting out of comunism was like walking out of the shop

Zakopane is now a pure massive commercial tourism and it became , in a way, fake and full of overpriced tourist traps.
The cheese you ate at a stand in Krupowki was, most likely, made of cow, not sheep milk. Real sheep cheese is hard to find due to a very limited supply that just cannot fill the demand and real sheep milk cheese is much more expensive.
Anyway, Poland can still deliver good experience and good value for money.
Enjoy! Still many places to explore in Poland.
Try a region called Roztocze in eastern Poland, south of a gorgeous town of Zamosc for instance. Might not seem to be very spectacular at first but it is not busy with amazing nature reserves to explore even for pregnant girls 🙂.
Go for it. It is off the main tracks but worth to see. If you are driving from Warsaw, stop at Lublin - a must-see city in the east of Poland.
PS. The prices you pay in Roztocze are simply negligeable.

Let's be honest, Poland is the best place you can get comparing quality to the prices.

Oh it's pleasure see You in my country. This salty chees it's caled oscypek. You sould taste it from grille or just prepare in toaster. Another thing's good to know is cherry vodka - śliwowica. Try find local guy to buy it and taste.

Hi guys, nice to see you again in Poland. I will reveal to you the details how the famous Zakopane cheese is made. Obviously it is very good mature cheese similar to some Innsbruck or Switzerland products and the secret behind it is that the family companies who are doing it to speed up maturation process ask the elder woman from their family to spit into the milk jar to accelerate fermentation. This is why I like the cheese so much and hope you will like it as well next time being in Zakopane !

what about Gubałówka in Zakopane?
There are also many attractions in this region also available for pregnant women. It is a pity that you did not use the cable car to Kasprowy Wierch or rafting on the Dunajec River. Some mountain valleys are very easily accessible for walks or horse-drawn carriage transport is possible. There are some nice castles to look around in the area.

Don't worry about cheese. Oscypek is no longer allowed from sheep Milk cause of UE regulations. It's cow Milk. If u wanna traditional u have to ask for it locals , but not at Street shops - they cannot sell it on shops.
