@ButterBumps grooming is everything for them. Most of the time whole troops groom in the afternoon. They aren't always getting bugs, as people think. And though they put what they find in their mouth, they aren't trying to find something to eat. They pick off bits of debris too, perhaps a tiny flake of skin, a stray hair, bits of leaves, etc. Think of how good it feels for someone to brush your hair, this is similar. In larger groups, the lower status ones groom the higher status. Lots of reasons, almost never because if being dirty.
Practically all primates do this, they don’t have to find anything since it’s as much a communal/bonding thing as much as it is an actual grooming for lice thing.

Marmosets have a crazy bird like look to them. This one is bigger than I thought Marmosets are. Maybe I've only seen babies.
