What mic sounds best to you?
That's crazy good! I use a boom and do most of my videos inside my studio but have been looking for a lav. Most of the decent lav mics, even without wireless, were close to this price point! Added to my list... Thanks for the review.
Glad to hear :) for a budget lav it certainly does the job :)
nice review...!good video editing!keep it up👌🏼
Best review so far, cheers 🥂
Wow, thanks!
Well done! Thanks for the review.
Thanks for dropping a comment !
Nice review. For a budget wireless lav, seems like a no brainer
great content. pixel is underrated
Great video and your the reason why i just ordered it
awesome!! it should work great for you!
🔥🔥🔥
Awesome comparison to other mics. Thanks. only bummer is I was going to buy with your link but it shows unavailable
a bit boomy sounds, but with a $109/pair then no complaints at all. We can fix it in pos. Thanks for the video! liked
Wish this still existed ):
check out channel, we made an updated vidoe on a new brand that is great as well!
Seems there is a lot of variability as far as distance for different reviews on this unit (or the Sokani or Photowelt.....they are all the same product). One guy could not go beyond 30-40 feet before it cut out.....but he had huge powerlines overhead. Others can do 30-40 meters before it cuts out. You got the best distance I have seen from multiple online vids I have watched. Perhaps it is the Canadian air or something :)
haha yeah i dont really know what to say there, we did this is in Ontario near Tonronto a huuge city, (no power lines around) and again near vancouver but in a smaller city with less chance of "radio" pollution and it did great. When you start going in behind trees or building you will most likely have problems.
I just recently bought this mic and found there is a white noise I can not get rid of. Did you find this as well and fix in post? or do you have any ideas what I can do to fix it? I have tried different volume levels and channels on both the transmitter and receiver but its always there. It gets softer the closer the pieces are together but that does not seem like that point of a lav mic lol
Hey! yes i did find that initially, the receiver and your camera both have volume levels, try turning the transmitter and receiver back to "normal" levels and turn down your camera volume levels! I hope that helps!
@@KurtisandChelsey Thank you I will try that!
With my Rode wireless Go the audio cuts out if it turn my back on the receiver.
Do these do the same?
It wasn’t perfect, but pretty good. I did some test where I was behind a big tree and it didn’t cut out.
I want to be able to record one Mic to the #3 channel & the other Mic to record to the #4 channel of my Zoom H4n PRO Recorder while the #1 & #2 channels recorde the Ambient sound. Now I need a second Receiver to record both Mics to the Left Channel on my Canon XA-30 & the Shot gun Mic records to the Right Chanel. i.e. can I Receive the output of 2 Pixel UHF Wireless Lavalier Mics on 2 different Pixel UHF Wireless Lavalier Receivers At the same time.
Hey. I am really looking into getting an affordable wireless mic to teach yoga indoors. I see a lot reviews are saying there’s like a white noise or a slight echoi/static sound and you mention on previews replies that you have to level the volume on the mic and your camera. I plan to use this mic on my iPhone 11 Pro. How would you go about leveling the volumes between the mic and your phone?
Oh that’s a good question haha and I don’t have an answer haha another option for a good lav that has good reviews is the the ride lav or I believe diety has a good option too!
If you use filmic pro you can adjust your audio levels in app.
Am I the only one who notices the audio is out of sync with the video. Is that common with this mic or did something happen in the video editing process to cause that. Any others notice this problem?
If it is, it’s my fault, but I don’t see it?
how too buy in India
These are discontinued
The Rode directional was WAY better. What's with the boomy muddy sounds on the Pixel? Seems like you're filtering something.
This is discontinued now anyway. Check out my newest review on the lensgo, it’s pretty impressive
Its not budget it's expensive
Is there cheaper wireless lavs out there?
Compared to what?!?! have you ever shopped for wireless lav mics??
budget mic??? pretty expensive still....
Budget wireless lav mic, I don't know if there are cheaper versions that would be any good.... a lav that you have to plug right into the camera wold be cheaper i guess
What are you talking about? For a wireless lav mic system this is about as cheap as it gets!
sounds horrible!
for the price its not bad. i would not recommend for professional use. for youtube its fine.
@@KurtisandChelsey That his is pretty bad when you can get a used rode for a hundred bucks more. Thanks for demonstrating though!
