If you've still kept your imagination from childhood, to be able to "get passed" the half-century old effects, this is just badass. Imagine being saved like that, the Gods showing their great cruelty and mercy both in equal measure.
They were lucky Poseidon wasn’t ticklish otherwise that mast under his arm might have caused him to giggle and drop the rocks. 🤗😝😂
All the computerized special effects in the world can not save a film which has a poor story or script. This is why this film works, great story, good effects.

Yes , in those times girls and women look to be feminine and beautiful . I like that women get more equal rights now a days but I dont like that women look like men nowadays with muscles and attitude like that of a men that they lost beauty and attractivity .
