hi ! I have some questions for you sir. To change the transmission solenoids, do I have to completely open the transmission or only open the small covers? I think I have a problem with the reverse solenoid on a TS110. my ts-110 is hydrostatic
Hey great video. just curious if it’s necessary to pull the cab and separate the rear end. We have the same exact situation at my work. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Great video! Quick question, I’ve got the same issue with a TS100 that I bought. Does the cab actually have to come off to get to everything? I can get to top of transmission cover from inside the cab and it looks like the transmission splits in front of the cab. Am I correct? Or will I not be able to do it with the cab in place? Thanks so much for your insight!
I have same problem and was thinking exactly the same. hopefully split the tractor at the bell housing and work my way into the synchro from the front and top of transmission.
Hello, we have a ford 8240 with a problem. When shifting from 4 to 5, the sound of gears colliding is heard, sometimes it also shifts to 6, 7 or 8 gear.It is the same trans like in this tractor. What could that be . thank you
@Kentucky teck I would think it probably does a lot of forward reverse and they will wear the synchronizers out like that and it’s not really a brand specific thing either they all seem to do it
@@agtech4580 thanks buddy. I didn’t know if maybe they weren’t coming to a complete stop before throwing it into reverse that may have caused the excessive wear
Well, if you watch much of Warren on Western Truck and Tractor you would think otherwise. Them late model green tractors have their fair share of transmission failures too.
Kinda seems like the old time welder wanted you to get that transmission done and out of his space 😁 great video Phil
Yes sir I see the boss looking over your shoulder lol! Thanks for sharing take care now good seeing you old time welder 👍
Great video Phil. It is really cool to see things like that come apart.
Nice that was a heck of a job right there.. glad you gotter done 😃
Finally watched.. Great job..Man you guys have to take a lot apart to do most things..Makes me feel like automotive is minor assembly..
Some days it’s worse for you guys some days it’s worse for us lol
Nick from jersey tools is a fair guy
Good work phil 👍
Had to replace the pto input shaft on my 6610 that was a major project! But not as much disassembly as this.
Awesome Video
Excellent video man. Do you know if the power stars are similar in design to this transmission? In terms of the forward clutch pack?
Thanks for the video Heavy W. Pardon me if you said it but how many hrs. were on that tractor?

What would cause that wear? Is it normal or operator related? Awesome video buddy

Kentucky Teck that would have some effect on it also
It seems New Hollands have transmition issues more often than other brands

Is there a way to contact you about a different problem with same type tractor no one can figure it out
