    Can Line 6 please make a pedal that has only a handful of tones and effects(Helix Quality) at a cheaper price ((around $400.00)? I do not need all those choices. Just a few great tones and a few great effects is ALL i need.

      Maybe they will in a couple of years when sales of the Helix LT have tailed off?

      D S Well you asked for it! Now they have Helix HX. Although it's $600. I own the Helix LT and can't tell you how great it is!

      They'd just released the Helix Stomp, which is what you need :)

    OMG, somebody can tell me why the Distorstion / overdrive sounds so bad? Starting in 1.22, is an issue with the helix? or with the audio recording?
    thanks

      dparedes007 he's using a fuzz effect and that's how it sounds, like an amp is about to explode. The second part starts the distortion is crisp and beautiful.

      If you cant tell a fuzz (even with an added lower octave at 1/3 volume) from an overdrive or distortion, then the issue is you mate.... did you not realise that all distortion sounds played after the fuzz part, were much different?

      well to be honest, I have the LT model and well I find most of the sounds as lacking compared to a real amp. Mostly with feel, for instance, I can make a sound that is just like AC/DC back in Black from the record.. Playing with the mp3 can't tell which is which, but listening to the patch on its own, well I don't like it, over processed and lacking feel. But I started to replace the CAB's with impulse Responses, and wow, feel is there and its sounds more "real" not a processed copy. now is it as good as my half stack or any one of 25 tube amps.. ah, no.. even my little Champ clone is 100% more responsive, but I can play a gig with just bringing this one board, and I know there is not many people in the audience even care if it sounds like a true AC 130 or my JCM 800. I can get a good sound that cuts though the mix and I can get my own monitor mix.

    This guy is monster guitar player. He can make a $10 pedal sound like $1,000.

    The LT sounds great, the playing helps of course, I also like the guitar, can you please tell me what make/model it is?

    • @sandrataylor51
      @sandrataylor51 Před 5 lety

      The guitar is a Line 6 JTV 69 and it is a Variax modelling guitar. They do the same guitar called a 69S with 3 single coil pickups with a slightly different pickguard.

    Now if you could get that sound straight to an amp instead of a DAW program I would buy it.
