A really neat job. If you are planning on doing many more windows it is worth getting a battery powered mastic gun as it is so much quicker and neater. I got one to do the rooflights on my camper and it is so easy to use that my daughter has nicked it to caulk her built in wardrobes (and even my wife used it without making too much of a mess).
Sit down shower would be perfect… I am just now planning how would it be possible and I think I got few solutions ;) Planing buying the van soon and start my project.
Mine came with windows on rear and on sides 2013 transit connect. I'm thinking about getting it wrapped I use it for my painting business but I see most of the wrap designs cover the side windows and I like having the side windows for visibility
great job mate , not been picky but i didn't see or you didn't mention anything about protecting the bare metal around where you have just cut out as this could start rusting and cause issues in a few years to come rust spreads rapidly ! when i did mine i just use a standard car paint touch up pen to seal off the bare metal you should be ok as it has the rubber seal on but its good practice for any future installs
Your sandpaper was 400 grit not 40 grit and there is a massive difference. 400 grit is so smooth that you could wipe your arse with it in an emergency, definitely not something that you want to be doing with 40 grit.
