Spiderweb: A learning game to map social and gender dynamics in health

A group reads aloud a case study and - answering the question "But why?" at each stage - they identify the varied factors underlying the health and other issues in this life history. Using string, they spin a physical "web" of these intertwined factors. They take turns to propose strategies to address each factor and, in this way, thread by thread, they dismantle the web. Finally, they discuss what they have learned from this activity.
