For years Sunday is a day that I get in my quiet place and wash out all the junk that creeps in, but today is Monday and a holiday from work and yesterday I had company, which for me is rare because that's the day I have for many years just stop and block everything out and recharge with great music and thought. Hearing this fella and feeling the vibe he puts out so explosively reminds me why it's so very important to be still and just enjoy what moves me more than anything else, that inward feeling of absolute freedom and escape that great music gives. Thank you little brother, you bring a ton of peace to my soul and I absolutely dig your vibe. It's incredible that flow you have is just as solid as zeppelin, Bad Company, Pink Floyd and many other great bands I grew up with. You are at the same table with the folks I listen to on Sunday when I get in my still place.

The arrangement with the band is so good. It enhances without overwhelming the song. Kudos to Jerome's featured guitar bit. Of course Sawyer's songwriting, guitar work and vocals are stunning. Plus the videographer beautifully captured the light from the setting sun on Sawyer against the black backdrop. Great video.

In another era this guy would have been big. (Somewhat embarrassed to admit watching The Voice), but I will say that his talent was obvious from the start and to this day my only memorable contestant to walk that stage. Here's hoping that today's music industry as well as his fan base allow this guy the chance he deserves to be successful on a large scale.

Don't be rude. It's their right to be passionate about his music. And besides, that isn't exactly true. He has lots of younger fans too, and male fans. It just happens to be the case that the older women are the most vocal supporters online. Ask any of them, and many will say his music brings them back to their youth and the music they loved growing up.
I am an older woman, in fact I am in my 50's and I am here to tell you I don't go to Sawyer's shows because I want to be younger. I go to listen to Sawyer sing because his voice and his music brings me back to a different era of music. I have gone to many of Sawyer's performances and I will tell you there is an equal number of men. Sawyer has a fan base that spans from the very young to the elderly, this is not the norm, usually an artist's music is targeted toward a specific group of people, this is not true for Sawyer. Sawyer's music is something we can all relate to in different ways. Your statement is simply untrue, it's nothing more than a judgement. You have made a statement that is based on what you think, it is not based on facts. It's not even an intelligent statement!! Did I mention Sawyer is an 18 year old who is humble, hard working, kind, polite, values the meaning of family, and a singer/songwriter. Maybe you could learn a lot from him.
Exactly Bobbi. I am 20, almost 21. I've been to two of Sawyer's shows, but I had to travel to get to both. I saw diversity in age/gender of the audience. I know of several other young fans as well; some have been to his shows, others haven't. But they're still fans. The people that are most often able to see his live shows in person do not represent the entirety of his fan base.

Good song with oomph. Well I see he's coming to Winnipeg Manitoba Canada in August but would would to see him in Toronto or vicinity... lots of great venues. I went to see him at the Schoharie State Fair in NY last summer b/c I knew he wouldn't be here any time soon; I'll keep a lookout. Very entertaining.
