He didn't bring the cat to get fitted, he just bought them off a shelf somewhere! Who is this mysterious cobbler making cat-sized boots? I submit that talking, intelligent, boot wearing cats were in fact common! This explains not only per-existence of the boots, but also why nobody is surprised to meet a talking, intelligent boot wearing cat. It's amazing what you can come up with when you recklessly extrapolate from fairy tales. ^_^

A high Charisma cat Rogue tricks the king into believing his master was a lord, seduces the princess by proxy, intimidates peasants into perpetuating the lie, and defeats a shapeshifting ogre and takes his castle and lands and servants. That cat better have gotten mad EXP for that adventure.
I loved this story as a child! Had a book with it with pictures and all. The cat was SO fancy, with its big boots and purple feathered hat xD The music in the background sounds very much like a Harry Potter tune. The one that is song around Christmas by the choir with the toads :P I can't remember which moivie, though :P
