It’s kinda a nice-weird having a generally meanish Hailey. She has every right to be upset but she just has a much meaner attitude towards Jake. I don’t understand people who complain about you mischaracterizing Hailey. That’s the point of an AU. If they all acted the exact same it wouldn’t be an AU. Plus not a lot of mean Hailey AUs exist. I also enjoy how you didn’t end it on an ‘amazing everything works out’ kinda way cause that’s not realistic. Even if you finished it you said Jake still wouldn’t be in the competition. I also like how none of the friendships he tries to rebuild we’re an automatic acceptance. I’ve been binge watching TMF AUs and edits to hold me off until the finale comes out soon (I’m so excited) and yours is by far the most original AU I’ve come across. The inclusion of his parents, how they didn’t act horribly his dad was nice and you could tell his mom still cared, to Haileys personality, to the hospital scene, and not pulling a cliche. I enjoyed binge watching this lol.
