    I’m confused between this lens and Sony 11mm F1.8 to use for real estate mainly.
    Any advise?

    Would love to use on komodo/gimbal work with autofocus, the lightweight sigma RF 10-15 and 18-50 aps-c (with FF crop 15-27mm and 27-75mm)
    Any news?

    Does it cover full-frame at 18mm?

      @cameracollective9522  Před 7 měsíci +1

      It does not. It is for APS-C sensor size cameras.

      @@cameracollective9522 Yes I understand what it's intended for, but other similar lenses like the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 or Sony 10-18 f4 have been known to actually cover full-frame at their longer end. I was hoping this did the same.

      @@aldolega I see what you mean! Yeah, good question, I am not sure actually and unfortunately I don’t have the lens with me anymore so I cannot test it. I can imagine that maybe at the longer end at 18mm it does, but I am pretty sure still with a huge vignetting. But you actually made me curious because if it does than this would be even more versatile and too good to be true kind of a lens :D

      it covers, do x1.5 to get FF. so 10mm=15mmFF, 12=18mmFF and 18mm=27mmFF.
      If you mean, at 18mm does it can be used in FF camera without a crop in the frame? then it does not.

      I am also looking for sample of it being used on full frame. I saw some comment saying at certain zoom range it cover the full frame.

    Noob question. Does this lens fit on a Canon 80d. I know it works on APSC, but I've searching the webs to see if there is anything connecting this to an 80d, with no luck, so it's making me wonder if it doesn't. Appreciate the help.

      no unfortunatly, they only come on 3 mounts (L-mount, Sony E, and Fujifilm X) canon 80d uses Canon EF mount

    Shall I buy it for my Sony A7iV to resolve 4k60 crop?

    • @DimoBoychev
      @DimoBoychev Před 3 měsíci

      yes, it has very small vignetting on full frame mode with my a7siii on active steady shot mode so that combined with the 4k60 crop should work fine

      It really depends on what do you need. If you create more for social media and you need a fast and easier workflow go with the iPhone, but with a proper mirrorless camera and a lens you could achieve much higher quality. Really what matters is that what is more important for you.

      I got both iPhone 15 pro max and zv e10, no phone beats a real cameras quality. However, the quality of the 15 max pro is great.
