That means that a lot of these players will never get a real chance.
I hope the Sky draft Olivia Miles. At PG, she is the best combination of floor general/facilitator & scorer in the draft. Paige won't last to the 6th pick, but that may be a good thing for Chicago. Now, I have to ask 1) where is Ayoka Lee, and 2) didn't Indiana get rid of Taylor who is a better defender than Rivers? It would be good to give the new team two first-round picks or the first pick in the second round.
@@lincolnholder5874 They did, but Rivers is taller/longer wingspan with way higher offensive upside. I don’t really think Lee is a prospect. Good college player, but we’ve seen plenty of these not so athletic post bigs not translate to the W

Thank you Hunter, this was a Great Projection and ratings by you in my opinion. I also enjoy the commentary, because you explain details, and your opinion regarding your pics, which is always appreciated. I especially agree with your pic of Bueckers, I think pairing her up with Edwards her former teammate, and depending where the team wants to go, but with Bueckers there it would definitely turn things around for them, and no doubt she will be placed as a Starter. I also like your pic with the Indiana Fever, Saniya Rivers, She definitely has The defensive skills, And you are so correct about Indiana and they desperately need defense. Although as a Fever Fan, I honestly and personally would not mind having Dominique Malonga, if Rivers is not available, because Malonga has incredible reach and at her height and skills, and that The Fever does not have a big at Center, and I think the Fever would benefit from a having a Center, again just a personal opinion. Lastly, a couple items,- Haley Van Lith was not mentioned in your rankings, I thought she was going into the draft next year? Or is there A specific reason that you know of that you did not include her in the rankings? I could be mistaken on her being a 2025 Draft. I know she was selected for the 2024 Olympic team now. Also, I was wondering if you had heard anything about Scalia and Elster who are 2 Great Players That were undrafted, likely due to the fact of such a high grade draft class of players this year. I kind of feel bad when players get undrafted in the WNBA that were really good or played Very well in their last couple of years at college and really developed. It’s kind of a shame that there’s only 12 WNBA teams right now but the expansions are coming like you said. I watched Scalia play and she is fantastic as a shooter. I can’t believe how many three-pointers that she has made. I know she broke The All time Indiana 3 point Record, And she shoots 42.6 from the field and over 86% from free throws, but her small size at 5’10 probably played a big role in her not being selected. But then, again, players like Skylar Diggins Smith, is very small, and you can see what she can do. Anyway, If you have any info about either Scalia or Elster that you’ve heard, feel free to comment. Thanks again Hunter for a great Topic, and Rankings, and commentary.
Love my Sky to get Miles & PaoPao or Sitron & PaoPao. I get Miles 3 is a problem but we need a legit floor general and Chennedy is a 2. Plus Olivia should improve her 3pfg%
Yeah the thing is you need a point guard that can shoot & move off the ball next to Carter. Possibly that’s Amoore? But then you’re asking Chennedy to defend the best guards. They’re just in a tough spot overall because their 3 key long-term players are all non shooters, you know
@@HunterCruse14 Were not in a tough spot. Just have to build around the core 3 effectively. And Chennedy can shoot she just relies mostly on her iso game going to the basket. I don't mind that because she's unstoppable. Adding Miles opens up a ton of easy shots for everyone. Her & an elite 3pt shooter puts us right where we wanna be.
Awesome video, thank you! One question, do you see a plausable scenario where Nebraska C Alexis Markowski could play her way into the 1st round this season? One other mock I've seen projected her to go to Phoenix at #17. Do you see her as most likely a 2nd round pick?
It's my belief the next 2-3 drafts will bring many more talented ladies. I also believe this year's draftee's will not treat the incomers like horseradish
The fact that neither Aneessah Morrow nor Raven Johnson are top 5 picks in this mock draft made me shake my head. Aneessah is a beast, and the only reason she wasnt as good as she supposed to be with LSU was bc of Angel Reese. Raven was the best pure PG in college last year, and if you watch the Wnba, you would know that these girls play in most cases old school basketball with PG who are floor generals first, instead of being shooters like in the NBA.
I believe Aneesah Morrow should be a top five-Ten pick. i agree she is a a solid 3 small forward in the WNBA and is too small to guard 4's, she would be a beast in chicago that front line of her angel and kamilia would be something else! she's amazing off the dribble and drawing double teams, chicago does need shooting, but you gonna get that anyway maybe try to get haliey van lith late in the 3rd or something........you don't lose out on a possible generational small forward.....
She is not a point guard and showed that at LSU and she also does not play defense and the year she played with lsu she just did not have it which is way to transferred, she does not play good under pressure.
Aside for the #1 & #2, the 2025 WNBA Draft seems kind of weak to me. If the Mystics draft Paige Bueckers as their first pick, I sure hope the coach utilizes her how Pat Riley played Magic Johnson. She needs greyhounds for the run and gun style.
To everyone confused about Janiah she could technically enter because she turns 22 the year of her draft. He birthday is in November, so she makes the cut off by a little.
Can`t wait see next year come. See what the GOLDEN STATE TEAM dose . I can see us build around a drafted player , plus ownership will spend on players .
Here is what I dont get. I read that because of the expansion, the draft will be different. Means the records of the last 2 seasons will be combined and create the draft order. So as far as I know, the Fever are still in the lottery. An I wrong here? Cause thats what I read everywhere. Means this calculator is wrong, cause the draft order is just based on this years record.
Leaving the number 3 scorer in the country off any mock draft only tells me that very little thought has gone into compiling the names for it. Lucy Olsen only sat behind Caitlin Clark and Juju Watkins the entire year in scoring w/ a constant 25/26 ppg. A year that also included a 40 ball and All American honors! I’m, at the very least, drafting a healthy player who can EXECUTE over someone who barely played college ball but has a name!
Not too interested in them as prospects. They’ll be picked for sure based on college success, but the upside is limited and it’s just tough to be solely a post scoring big when you aren’t a star & don’t really offer much else on both ends
Citron would be a great fit on the fever because her strength is how well she moves off ball and cuts, which opens herself up for passes from Miles and Hidalgo. She would work so well with Clark it just makes perfect sense to me
@@carol68490 lol. i just watch recommended videos. 🤷♂ I am ready to move on from the Paige Bueckers era. In some respects, Paige has become bigger than UConn. And I think Azzi and Caroline are part of that era. I hope this is the last year for all 3 of them.

Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso can shoot because Angel Reese is the Rookie of the Year and Angel Reese is an amazing player and I believe in her now and I am so proud of her and Kamilla Cardoso as well. In the WNBA All Star Angel Reese played with Caitlin Clark and those two worked together and they are both amazing players and I am also proud of them to. Including the other players from Dallas Wings is Arike and many more from different teams on the WNBA Team. And Angel Reese can Shoot the 3 Pointer Ball as well. She did that 2x last month. Also I am very excited for two new more players next year is Sonia Citron and Bree Hall.
Im looking forward to the league expansion. There are so many players who need time to develop but don't get a chance because there are so few available spots. On a side note, i think Dallas needs to find a way to keep Odessey Sims. She and Arike have such great chemistry and make a great back court, it would be a shame to see them lose that.
To think Bree Hall, Raven Johnson, Saniya Feagin, and Saniya Rivers were in the same #1 ranked recruiting class at USC. Yeah they have a chip together. Some now have 2. Rivers stays maybe they have a 3 peat going
disagree with the idea Paige is the sure number 1, yes she’s the highest probability but I could see some of these teams with pg going with Kiki over Paige. Kiki will be 22 and Paige will be 24 so you have a younger player and a dominant pf/c who has a solid jumper. Now I agree if Washington has 1 and 3 they would take Paige needing a pg, but I actually see them taking Aneesah Morrow at 3.
Washington, Dallas, LA, Golden State, even Chicago ... all would choose Paige if possible. Specially cause she isnt a true PG. She is more of a scoring guard who can also playmake a bit. Means she fits next to most "classic" PG's who are more of initiators then finishers on the court. Specially because she is a great floor spacer. Hell I can even see her next to Clark, if for some strange reason the Fever get the 1st pick. I read very contradicting things about the next draft. But as far as I know the Fever would still have a lottery pick right now, cause the records of the last 2 sesons will be combined to create the draft order. If thats true, well we will see. BUT IF, it would mean Mitchell is most likely gone and CC/Bueckers would be the most methal backcourt in WNBA history!
Chicago should try to trade up for Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron. Without Mabrey the team will most likely suck so gotta tank and trade up and be willing to put a 2026 1st round pick on the line.
I'm shocked u didn't go with Georgia Amoore to Chicago at 6 or 12. Elite 3 pt shooter, amazing vision. The Sky need an young, explosive along with 3pt shooting. Amoore would fill the PG need for them.
Me personally i don't think Paige is number 1 pick she had a torn ACL she will never be the same. Also her legs are weak i think your other knee ACL will be tirn this year. My opinion.
Dallas picking at 5 would be massively disappointing for them. And I like Miles. But she can't shoot at the college level. < 25% from 3. I don't think she is the right pick there. It is true though that they are crying out for a point guard.

Thats who i think they will target but first they will try to get paige then after look at guards like cintron, and miles
Citron is the most underrated players in WCBB, I'd take her before PB ANYDAY.
Thank you for considering Feagin, I think this young lady will surprise many in the W.
@@HunterCruse14 I think Rivers is a wonderful point guard and I think her stock might drop if she moves to the wing in her senior season. Lee is a scorer and teams will need a 6.6 who can score.
Please update the draft picks; the lineup for 2025 is changed in the 1st pick, which Ace forfeited to pick.
Sky should be looking to draft either Amore, raven Johnson or pao pao
Great mock draft. Love these in depth videos
Thank you!
7:56 Man, you did Rivers wrong with this pic. Lookin like ODB! 😂😂
They’re just in a tough spot overall because their 3 key long-term players are all non shooters, you know
I hope its both Olivia and Citron. Gotta trade up to make it happen!
@@vraiking Yeah that'd be the best outcome. I didn't put that down cause like you say, we'd have to trade up. Definitely a possibility tho.
@@HunterCruse14 czcams.com/video/JUHnG4DMwdU/video.htmlsi=2LwmICkdi7YRlXeY
Awesome video, thank you! One question, do you see a plausable scenario where Nebraska C Alexis Markowski could play her way into the 1st round this season? One other mock I've seen projected her to go to Phoenix at #17. Do you see her as most likely a 2nd round pick?
What about Maddy Westbeld?
I love Raven wit the Aces !!
aces lost 1st round pick
It's my belief the next 2-3 drafts will bring many more talented ladies. I also believe this year's draftee's will not treat the incomers like horseradish
Jujuwatkins and in the future the 7 5 Chinese prospect
Really hope Olivia ends up with Chicago Her and Reese running the floor would be really fun to watch
Even less floor spacing…
@@TheReddee1987sky need to draft cintron she can pass, shoot and defend and has size she will be able to play pg
i like the people for chicago but they need a guard first
i’m hoping olivia miles fall to them
The fact that neither Aneessah Morrow nor Raven Johnson are top 5 picks in this mock draft made me shake my head.
HVL to Chicago would be perfect. She could go back to being herself
She is not a point guard and showed that at LSU and she also does not play defense and the year she played with lsu she just did not have it which is way to transferred, she does not play good under pressure.
@@mkingadiffernce She's a shooting guard like Marina
Where is Maddy Westbeld she is a SF zihou can stretch the floor and shoot 3s
Aside for the #1 & #2, the 2025 WNBA Draft seems kind of weak to me. If the Mystics draft Paige Bueckers as their first pick, I sure hope the coach utilizes her how Pat Riley played Magic Johnson. She needs greyhounds for the run and gun style.
Shes coming to LA
@@tommytom4514 I disagree, PB will more that likely go to join A. Edwards and she will NOT be a #1 pick.
No Morrow. Sivka over Malonga. I stopped at about pick 5.
What do you think about Chloe Kitts, she didn't make your list
She’s not draft eligible until 2026
@@HunterCruse14go watch LSU @ TEXAS A&M and if you come away with Barhker over Morrow you never need to scout again... Morrow DESTROYED Barhker..
@@Teemezoney Barker is a big disappointment, I agree. We'll see how she plays for the UCLA coach. She abandoned Joni Taylor...
wait! did you just say chennedy carter couldn't shoot well? that comment alone has me questioning your knowledge of the W
Shoot 3s is what I mean
@@HunterCruse14 wholeheartedly agree with that and would love to see them add a 3 point shooter like Paopao
not a bad list. I do like kikl from stanford
If Fudd gets healthy she could slip into the top 10. I hope she goes to the Lynx
To everyone confused about Janiah she could technically enter because she turns 22 the year of her draft. He birthday is in November, so she makes the cut off by a little.
You are spot on with the #5 pick😁😁😁
Can`t wait see next year come. See what the GOLDEN STATE TEAM dose . I can see us build around a drafted player , plus ownership will spend on players .
sky draft raven johnson and a wing
7:57 Indiana had defense with Celeste Taylor and elected not to play her. 💀😂
I must say, WNBA draft odds go by last 2 years of standings vs just the previous season.
I think the Valkyrie taking Azzi Fudd.
Couldn't Lauren Betts declare after her upcoming Jr. season? A decent 6'7" big would be hard to completely overlook.
Morrow going top 5 you don’t know ball
Terrible....Anessa will be ROTY.. This dude is embarrassing himself

Happy to see the league gave us our 2025 first rounder back.
Oops blame Tankathon
I like Paupao for the sky
Let's GO Sparks!!!!!
Thoughts on Ayoka and Yvonne?
Not too interested in them as prospects. They’ll be picked for sure based on college success, but the upside is limited and it’s just tough to be solely a post scoring big when you aren’t a star & don’t really offer much else on both ends
Aneesah Morrow not being a lottery pick kind of makes this list irrelevant unfortunately.
No lucy olsen first round is wild. She was like 3rd in scoring. Olsen should be top 5 easy.
Olsen was highly ineffective against UConn in 2023-24. Don't get your hopes up, she probably will not go in the first or second round.
I want citron or paopao on the fever
I don't wish ANYON E on the Fever, sorry.
Citron would be a great fit on the fever because her strength is how well she moves off ball and cuts, which opens herself up for passes from Miles and Hidalgo. She would work so well with Clark it just makes perfect sense to me
I am hoping Fudd has a good enough year that she can sneak her way into the first round.
Agreed!!
Lol ur everywhere begging for Azzi to leave. We get it
@@carol68490 lol. i just watch recommended videos. 🤷♂
I am ready to move on from the Paige Bueckers era. In some respects, Paige has become bigger than UConn. And I think Azzi and Caroline are part of that era. I hope this is the last year for all 3 of them.
@@TheDisruptiveOneAzzi has barely played
@@Yooooveeeee she will be 22 in a few months. She has already graduated college. If she plays really well and has a healthy year. She will be drafted. Probably highly drafted. No reason to play against Xavier as a 23 year old.
If Indiana can they take malonga the will not take a guard
Not trying to be an ass but at 1st glance of thumbnail, i thought that was dennis Schroder 😂😂
would a team mortgage their future picks for two top 10 2025 picks , to build a young playoff hopeful that will contend earlier than expected? like oklahoma city thunder.
i can see pao pao and citron in fever. or the opposite, pass on this draft and try to get more picks is the juju watkins draft
Prob runner up for roty
No Ayoka Lee ?
One BIG walking injury but I wish her well.
@@RustyLou18 I agree but she’s still a 10-15 range pick
Im looking forward to the league expansion. There are so many players who need time to develop but don't get a chance because there are so few available spots.
On a side note, i think Dallas needs to find a way to keep Odessey Sims. She and Arike have such great chemistry and make a great back court, it would be a shame to see them lose that.
Odyssey is a treasure, no doubt!
6:09 Bruh, you couldn’t have gotten a better photo of Miles?
To think Bree Hall, Raven Johnson, Saniya Feagin, and Saniya Rivers were in the same #1 ranked recruiting class at USC. Yeah they have a chip together. Some now have 2. Rivers stays maybe they have a 3 peat going
Raven Johnson is not a part of the 2025 Class shes a Junior this year
She is eligible in 2025 due to playing two games in 2021-22. She could return to school and enter in 2026 though
Love your content but just wondering - has Janiah Barker announced that she's coming out early? This upcoming season is only her junior year
She has not, but she's stated before she plans to enter after her jr year. That may have changed with the transfer, not sure
disagree with the idea Paige is the sure number 1, yes she’s the highest probability but I could see some of these teams with pg going with Kiki over Paige.
You're sleeping on South Carolina's roster!
Aren't there about 40 games per team in a WNBA season. Most teams have played at least 44 games. That means they are past the half way point!!!
I think expansion teams should get the first pick in the WNBA draft
Chicago should try to trade up for Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron. Without Mabrey the team will most likely suck so gotta tank and trade up and be willing to put a 2026 1st round pick on the line.
Maddy Westbield not being anywhere on here is near criminal 6’3 wing dat can shoot the lights out
Rachel Rose is better than Hannah Hidalgo. Don't sleep on her senior year.
I'm shocked u didn't go with Georgia Amoore to Chicago at 6 or 12. Elite 3 pt shooter, amazing vision. The Sky need an young, explosive along with 3pt shooting. Amoore would fill the PG need for them.
Yeah i think they will go after her or cintron if they cant land paige

Me personally i don't think Paige is number 1 pick she had a torn ACL she will never be the same. Also her legs are weak i think your other knee ACL will be tirn this year. My opinion.
Dallas picking at 5 would be massively disappointing for them. And I like Miles. But she can't shoot at the college level. < 25% from 3. I don't think she is the right pick there. It is true though that they are crying out for a point guard.
