My heart sank when you painted the 4 vintage wood chairs. They were in perfect shape and it seems they would work well with your lovely wood trim. It’s the MCM fan in me.

Always have a good time with your mother I didn’t have one she died 28 days after I was born. I had lovely grandparents to raise me. They were the best. I just always wished I had a mother to hang out with. Don’t cry I’m just saying you are fortunate to have going with you. Mostly my husband and I went together. He collected war memorabilia.
That Rub & Buff REALLY makes that mirror frame SO MUCH BETTER!

Will Rub N Buf work on metal? I found a beautifully shaped, tall vanity mirror on a marble base at a thrift store but the gold finish is worn off almost completely.
I have never thought of using it so liberally, and I love the mirror. I have several thrifted ones that now, I can make them coincide with one another! Thank you! First time watcher.👍

I have some beautiful crocheted table cloths that I've found. One covers the back of my couch, the other hangs in the center of my dining room curtains. They are beautiful, so much work went in to them. I love them. I pais $2 each for them, and got them a couple months apart.

My favorite of YOUR favorites is the gold framed pheasant hunting scene. My favorite thrifting find of 2022 is an extremely heavy black wrought iron candelabra for our dining room table. It holds 5 pillar candles. I’ve enjoyed swapping out the colored candles and greenery for the seasons.

My fave thrift store find was a Pioneer Woman cookbook. Got it home and found out she had signed it! I love thrifting cookbooks. I really love what you did to the oval mirror. It ended up looking crazy fancy. 🥰

So nice to see someone else bring a faux pink flowered tree into their decor. I felt a little odd because I have a gorgeous pink faux apple blossom tree in my bedroom and I love it. It is so pretty and brightens up a corner beautifully. Guests don’t get it though. Strange, but most prefer greenery. Thanks for the reinforcement.

You have great taste. I love the vibe in your home. I often find great things at thrift shops. Recently, I picked up 3 Horchow Italian made mahogany trays in perfect condition for $5.99 for the set. They originally retailed for around $120 each. This week I scored a square West Elm lamp for $6.50. It was a gamble. The shade was stained and if I couldn't revive it, it wouldn't be worthwhile trying to find a replacement shade. I scrubbed it with a brush and some dish soap and it turned out perfect. This lamp originally sold for over $300. I also picked up a hand painted Chinese ginger jar from the 1920s for $7.99. I guessed it was probably worth around $40, but when I researched, comparable pieces were going for $250-$400! Another find was an original oil painting for $8.99 which was valued at around $300. I also got 2 matching wrought iron chandeliers for $6 each. They're hanging in my bathroom and look fabulous! All of these items were found in the past 6 months. It does take patience and a good eye. I frequently leave shops empty handed., but when I score, it's great!

Hi . The wisteria is Floribunda Rosea. I am here in the UK. I owned a 200 year old building many years ago and wisteria grew there. They are beautiful and the blue is also lovely. There is a white one too ♥️

I would of loved to see your dinning room lamp, to me it looked like a huge oil lamp. At home I have a vintage crystal lamp, a nightlight lamp that has the lampshade in glass. Also those vintage mirror trays where women put their perfume bottles and a 3d picture that has a colorful city with tables and umbrellas near the ocean. These I got from a flea market, goodwill and the vintage tray from my aunt. I just love your home especially those beams on the ceiling. Say a hello to your mom and is so wonderful having a mom around, I don't have my parents any longer but miss them dearly.

I collect and love ironstone so my fave is your scalloped ironstone bowl. I have two. Loved this video! I lump garage sales/estate sales in my thrifting. My best find was two pair of new Birkenstock sandals, in my size, sitting at a garage sale with no price. I asked the guy running it how much. He shrugged his shoulders and said $1 per pair! Birks can run $100/pair. This guy/dad/husband had no clue. I handed over my $2 and grabbed those two pairs of sandals and ran to my car before a daughter/wife came running out of the house! 😅
Wasn’t included but I was eyeing that pedestal bowl with the moss. I’ve been wanting one for so long and been planning on making one.

oops hit send too soon! The pheasant guild picture was well worth the money. I found a large Ironstone bowl (probably the bottom of a wash set) for 20.00 at a Thrift Store in WA when I was visiting. I love it, I resell at markets, but I'm keeping this one for me! I have never found one since and that was my first. :)
