This was a lifesaver! I think it’s impossible without this bug, at least on the version I’m playing. The git will ALWAYS shoot you before you can pull up on the ledge.

I believe they added this feature to avoid getting softlocked, because it also exists in the classic game. And for Tinnos - there are some speedrun tricks you can do to play the level much faster. All Secrets Speedrun of Tinnos is only about 5 Minutes if done quick.
@icetea_gamer_9895 Really? I've seen several videos of shooting him down and even when he recharges, they still make it to the very top and exit the area. I'm gonna try both methods. And see which one works best. Definitely. I'll check out some glitchless Lost city Tinnos speed runs. There's a part where the lever room that has a lot of levers from top to bottom. And then you do a certain bottom body jump to get to the main lever to open the door and exit that room fast. Tricky but gonna learn how to do that.
This strategy doesn't work on PS4. Lara automatically lets go from the ladder when you open the menu to save the game. Even keeping the Action button held while opening the menu does not help. So this achievement/trophy is currently almost impossible, unless they fix this with a patch.
It works with the modern controls. You just need to push the action bottom once and she will grab until you push the bottom for letting go. You don't need to constantly push the bottom. She will even hold if you load your savegame, without pushing the action bottom during loading. Just change them until you finish the grabbing part. You can Change them back for the jumping part. It worked perfectly fine for me.
salut ,cela fonctionne pour moi sur ps4 mais avec persévérances !!mais c'est au mini métré en haut de l'échelle ,par contre je suis buggé à la fin car la grille et la porte reste fermée ,du coup le mieux et de le faire 2 fois ,pour le trophée et pour la fin ,à mon humble avis ??
When I try to save while Lara is on the monkey bar she automatically let's go. What do I do? Edit: I managed to stun him again before doing the monkey bars and was able to get out!😊
@@eduardomatos3777 I don't but I also don't see a problem. Hold action keep it hold and open the menu save and if you want to load it hold action before loading finished
It wasnt as bad as I thought to be, did it like in 10 min or less. Fun challenge. I didn't even use the save glitch, I stunned Willard twice. Once on the ground and second time before the monkey bars.

I did it with stunning him along the way, it wasn't really difficult as I thought it was... I couldn't leave w/out artefacts thou, lol!

holding action/ctrl and pressing f5 will do it. F5/F9 is quick save/load

the correct way to do it, the save and load mechanic is just an oversight
