Sahih Bukhari 1.2.32 Narrated By Abu Huraira.12 The Prophet said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three: 1. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie. 2. Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise). 3. If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. (If you keep something as a trust with him, he will not return it.)"
Asalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu, my brother have patience, reliance and trust on Allah swt because this might be a test and Allah swt, loves those whom he tests- because the tests gets us to supplicate and remember him even more - who knows if this situation didnt happen you probably wouldnt have come across videos like this to boost your imaan. In whatever you do, make sure you feel atleast safe and protected just incase God forbid something escalates - try having a friend or a family member to try and stay with you to comfort you and see how everythings like. Try to rest the situation, by smiling at them and ignoring their criticism - because remember all of these criticisms come from the shaytan. But if it escalates,what I would do, is record audio/camera (but mainly audio, because they would see it less) what they say and take it to the police - if measures go out of hand God forbid. Make sure you and your stuff are okay have some form of self defense techniques because things may escalate and make sure to pray to, Allah swt because he knows best!
Thats if the abuse carries on but I truly hope, Allah swt eases your situation and grants you justice or rest within it Allahuma Ameen. (Dont forget to say Ameen) And heres a story I really think will keep you, hopeful Inn Shaa Allah: Prophet Muhammad had a Jewish neighbor who used to throw garbage at him. Instead of reacting w/ anger, Muhammad showed kindness. When the Prophet learned one day that the neighbor was sick, he went to visit/care for that neighbor. This is an invaluable life lesson for all of us.
