Why he is still in p4 at negative wr in his main champ and overall 49% in a relative easy server? It's not a "haters" question I'm just considering to join your site to improve from d1 masters player to possibly challenger and that video was not reassuring at all
How can you guarantee that? I believe in conspiracy that all coaching services are coming directly from RIOT. As negative as most of the comments are, it is still important to acknowledge the plat player for willing to let a channel showcase his gameplay especially knowing that most people will pick at all the details and such. So definitely a lot of respect for that. This guy probably does have some challenger mindsets and decision making but the rank doesn't necessary reflect it due to the mmr and whatnot. So in some sense , I'd cut him a lot of slack in terms of his rank, he could be playing diamond or challenger mmr games but visually still being plat, I'm just giving him the benefit of a doubt.
if you're putting out videos like this to sell your service, I think it's better just to be honest about it, cause I watched the entire video and it really was more of a 14 minute ad more than anything real insightful. Maybe it's just me, but all I got out of that video was "get coaching, because chances are you're doing something wrong that's making you stuck". Which is valid, but again, not everyone who plays can afford your services.
Having said that, I do hope that this player can make it to diamond or beyond as he's paid a lot for the service.
I guarantee you this player is not secretly a challenger currently in plat due to “mmr”. For the overwhelming majority of players, their rank accurately represents their current skill level.

Undoubtedly we can nitpick at all the details all we'd like, but for someone who isn't seeking out to be a youtube content maker but someone who is just trying to learn the game like the rest of us, I'd suggest that we just remain respectful in how we comment just like how we want to be treated offline in person as well.

We can agree to disagree what the point of the video was which is fine, but please do not go assuming my feelings and thoughts without actually knowing me or having to chat with me assuming that you can just jump to conclusions. They already said at the start of the video that they were just going to show that superior decision making is what wins games, and that people get to challenger because they have good decision making, not the other way around

The problem is that people don't understand that the important thing is the theory behind the events, and not the events themselves, it's a youtube channel, of course the titles and the way they talk is unreal, it's the way to sell on the platform, but the content is good, I'm not fluent in English and just watching the videos and understanding the concepts worked I went up 4 divisions and I just don't go up anymore because I'm too lazy to play this game.
Extra: I've been hardstuck for the last 2 years playing without looking up anything on how to play the game.

To prove it is only majorly good decisions, you should put a low elo player in a higher elo bracket (or maybe 2 elos)
Bronzes at Gold
Silvers at platinum
Golds at Diamonds
And so forth..
With an earpiece from challengers.

suggestion for a vid could you do a vid on how to play with a bot support this happens all the time now in low elo at night and it would be great to have some ideas about how best to deal with it so far my stat is tp siver or trist and try and get side lane pressure to give the team chance to play around mid/top

Same for me(plat) but I think it's the game/interest in it. When u dont go into theory u end up in gold/plat. Everything above u need to learn by videos/coach/streams.

@@JessicaMorgani been using poro for over a season now, never caused me any issues, including in ranked. Biggest issue I had is that it still thought I was playing on PBE when I was not, but that solved itself out pretty quickly

What always gets me is the money back guarantee. Is there anyone who constantly posts negative comments who has had a bad experience trying to get a refund when the expectations weren’t met? Cause they’re not wrong, they wouldn’t still be around if players are just able to not climb and get money back. The only way I can think of is that it’s so hard to get the refund that no one can, but I’ve never heard of that so I’m assuming the service works?
I recently subscribed to Skillcapped on their site and after having used the site for a few weeks I can see my laning slowly improving. I'm a slow learner so I honestly didn't expect it to work but the main reason I'm getting better from it is they have a lot of "Test your Skills" type of videos for every role where you get to pause and answer questions. If you do try it out those are the ones I'd recommend going for after having watched some of the basics (you can also watch the basics on their youtube channel). Obviously I can't tell you if I'm gonna climb 5 divisions as they claim yet but the fact that I can already see how much better my laning has gotten at least says something.
Overall I think skillcapped works but I will also tell you that not everyone learns the same way - some people learn a lot from watching guides while others need to be in the situations in game themselves.

You NEED to open opgg every single lobby and look at all 4 players on your team, if you don't want to at least look at your support no matter which role you play and look at the match history and dodge if they're bots. That's all.

But he's plat 4 and still constantly has lose streaks in ranked. In no game the average ELO was Diamond 4, and last season he was actually Plat 2, so if anything he got worse.

Bronze and silver just need to play more to improve. You dont need crazy tactics to get gold; just know your champion and play around your team
Ya know… I really care about ranking up. But at the same time… I usually feel like the people that are on my team play worse than the rank their in. But I don’t feel like I should be at a higher rank myself *shrug*
There are so many ways to be good at lol that players of a same elo often are good in different fields. So in the fields you are good at, most players in your elo will not be as good. It makes you feel like you are at the wrong elo, but unless you didn’t play enough, you probably are not.
Just remember that other players in your elo will often be better than you in numerous fields, and you cannot see it without closely watching.

you know it's probably not a good idea to make your poster child a student that's been hardstuck plat for 7 years currently plat 4 with a negative winrate with over 600 games this season and weekly coaching. this actually makes you look really bad and makes me question whether your coaching works at all.
Well for me it helped i was a silver hardstuck and now diamond from CZcams videos only didnt buy a coach the reason he has probably not improved îs bcs he started auto piloting, that's also one of my problems and i am learning how to fix it.
It feels like you're implying the cause of that is SkillCapped's coaching, even though there can be many reasons he's stuck or even dropping rank currently and we have no idea what they are. Literally just playing without the (explicit) intention to improve (like auto-piloting) can drastically alter results

You improve by getting something explained, then taking it into practice. With constant repetition, and failing and understanding what you did wrong, why and how to make it right and trying again and again and again until you get it right. It applies at any school topic, and it applies at learning League too. And yes, it takes time. Depending on the person it can be more or less time, but it's not a fast process ever. If you are looking for that, I have bad news

@@aliclip8643 tbf playing top or bot i can't really manage to win all its exactly as you said for me then atleast but on Mid and especially jungle you can just dictate the game and even if people are running it you have to seek for potential clean ups and see how you can make the most gold if you cannot do so, the thing which is so appearent if i play in gold and below is just people grouping and doing absolutely nothing, when behind this is the perfect moment to scavenge all recources left around the map while the others are just grouping and stalling for you
