AbeBooks' review of the Griffin & Sabine trilogy by Nick Bantock.
Griffin Moss is a lonesome postcard designer in London. Sabine Strohem is an illustrator of stamps living on an island in the South Pacific. This trilogy of books recounts their romantic correspondence via postcards and letters, which the reader has to literally open and read. Nick Bantock is a famous book designer and Griffin and Sabine is perhaps his greatest piece of work and now has more than two million copies in print.

Love this review! The last letter from the 1st book still sends shivers down my spine... since 1995 ;-)

What a great way of summarizing why these books are so special.
I am sending this link to a friend because it explains a hard-to-describe story so well.
    Thank you!

I hope mine are in my storage, yet!
My, then, tactile husband, gave them to me, one at a time.
