Cody, do you ever load your own tubes? I did a little help on a few pro shoots in SoCal. We didn't use cakes. I love how they fill the sky. We were limited to 1 1/2 balls, 3 inch balls and 5 inch balls. 5 inch we used in the racks with the 3 inch balls. We were only allowed to fire the 1 1/2's by hand. We wore helmets and goggles too.
So everything for opener and grand finale were in racks and we had to fuse in series to shoot them. Tape over each hole so fire Marshall could verify everything fired.
Oh sh~t that’s the one thing I’m missin is the Cody B wifebeater…gonna scoop one up
Those are some nice fireworks . I would space the different fireworks farther apart because I would be afraid that the sparks from one could set off one or all of the others .
I spotted your Literally firework cake at the Firework Superstore in Hannibal Missouri!
Hannibal has the scariest traffic light cameras I have ever seen...they even give off flash when run! Crazy place....a mini-mountain in an otherwise flat-ish state. Hahah!
Hey Cody. The black spiders 🕷 are nothing new we have them in South Africa imported from China. You get ones that are strike match type. See if you can get hold of them. Another one thats similar but is like it's much bigger brother is the Widowmaker and they have a skull 💀 on the box.

You can buy black spiders all over in South Africa. This is like the only thing we have here 😹😹
Those black spiders are supper cool, I used to always buy those and trow them on the road 😂, but they have new packaging, before it used to be like a match and a striker was on the box, and you would strike it and throw it in the air, Very fun times 😄
Honestly over the year I’ve come to love 200 gram cakes especially with the recent pandemic and not being able to get stuff i normally do for the past 2 4th of July’s 200 gram cakes can put on a good show and for how cheap they are. Great shots and breaks

Those rocket fountains Cody are very similar to the TNT Rocket fountains by TNT however the ones by TNT have louder crackle and we actually get those here in CA.

It's good to see, in the last 10 years or so, Shogun stepping it up. They used to be mostly known for crappy low end junk- the junkiest of the junk. Plus a handful of "HOLY SHIT! that was a Shogun item??" pieces. Now, they make a lot of great stuff- even on the low end. Like Glorious and Beihai before them, they go their own direction. They do stuff differently, and their fireworks have a "look" to them in the air. They even have a killer 60g can set- can't remember the name, but it's got a US flag on it, and Spirit of 76 has it. REALLY pretty effects and colors. It's in the 10 best kits of 2020 video they put out, if you want to see them.
It makes sense that they COULD put out some way cool stuff- Shogun and Vulcan factory have been making really nice Display shells for decades. Vulcan made some of my favorite shells to shoot when I did 1.3 shows.
That's a nice effect- half and half peony to silver strobes. Something you'd expect to see in a 1.3g shell, lol.
They make rocket fountains that look like stick rockets, too. TNT has sold them for probably 20 years in their Cali tents. Kellners used to carry some, too in the early-mid 2000s. There were even reloadable fountain kits! They looked like mortar kits with 6 "canister" shells and 1 launching tube. The tube had a spacer in it, so the fountain would sit right at the top, when inserted. Some were cheesy, others were actually pretty nice. PA was S&S only until a few years ago, so Kellners used to carry all kinds of fountains and ground items. Inc novelty fountains like these. They supplied a lot of tents in WPA.
I think shogun is starting to shine a little, just picked up “party on” by them and there’s only a few vids on it on CZcams but it’s a real nice little 200 gram zipper cake, should check it out

The whistle tails on the space monkey remind me alot of the ones on the El Patron....i like the sound! The American Battalion had some decent palms and stuff, pretty nice variety of color and that mine to start it off was cute! The altitude & fullness & spread of the peonies seemed good on that 4 shot...from shogun, heheheh. Guess it's al the matter of getting a fair price.
Went to get some fireworks today in western pa, and wow i about cried when saw the price this year vs last year. For example hit the road jack 500 gram last year $28 this year $68 and i cant buy wholesale by the case this year they say aint enough inventory. I got an entire truck bed full of cases last year for $500
I use a cement mixing trough and sand to prevent tip over. Or a 5 gallon bucket too.
Just push it a few inches in.
This makes a tube pushed out the bottom unable to transfer energy and likewise a shot knocked askew by a cardboard cap or separation layer won’t either.

Those r weird …the 4 shot actually predates the noab….was common in dot era I have a few still….the winda is a retailer demo (very rare and holds value save the label especially the NFS/Anniversary part)the other items r cool and weird as well but don’t want to make this a dozen paragraphs lol 😆 STAY BURNIN BRO 😎

Just got back from there, there’s a few stores but man are they pricey. If you don’t mind paying Phantom prices for average stuff and mediocre brands go for it
TNT has the same Rocket fountain. The Black Spiders that I have seen have a DM product code that I've seen on Dominator products
The Black spider firecrackers, in Italy it's Miniciccioli, if u wanna try something just light one of it in the box and you'll have a mini 60 shot firecracker xD
Black Spiders are popular in South Africa. However, they have black packaging and have to be struck on a match box (i.e. no fuse). The box looks exactly the same though.

America's battalion came out in a promo set in 2018 with fantastic beast they came in a box you get eight America's battalion and two fantastic beasts I think they were designed as a promo for retailers that's why they say not for sale on the labels
