Well, as far as I've heard, they are the new Sputnik Hybrid from Hänsch. Standby has pretty good quality. Hänsch lights on the other hand, apperantly have a reputation for breaking due to water getting inside.

Ich hab in der Vergangenheit auch schon Videos gesehen, in denen Blitzer kaputt o.ä. waren. Das Problem ist eben, dass viele Ausrüster Exklusivverträge mit Hänsch haben. Die Produkte sind aber bei weitem nicht die besten und dann auch noch extrem teuer.
Standby und Fedsig sind heller und generell auch einfache besser und wenn man unbedingt "rein deutsche" Produkte will, könnte man auch die BST von Hella nehmen.
Wer weiß ob sie kaputt sind oder einfach separat ausgeschalten. Bei vielen Fahrzeugen kann man die Separat an und Aus machen.

I very rarely see a "older" police BMW. Todays they mainly drive Ford S-Max and some Mercedes-Benz Vito.
