For breeding, you need a minimum of 4 hutches, where 1 hutch keeps 5 rabbits. Most males will get slaughtered by 4-5 months of age, and females grow together to 6 months productive maturity, after which the breeders selected get to live in individual hutches with their litter, with additional hutches if you don't slaughter them off as well.
For construction guidance, build 3 hutches for every 1 Doe kept as breeding stock. Use the extra 2 hutches to house in 1 hutch the male kits and the other the female kits. And repeat for each new litter.
Based off this guide then, the number of hutches you need will be equal to the number of rabbit breeder mothers you wish to keep multiplied by 3. Also consider your budget. Expect to spend 4400 sh per fully furnished hutch in both construction fee and materials.
