The Easiest Brush Cleaning Method for Artists?

I have tried many methods to clean artist's oil brushes, but kerosene seems the easiest. This video looks at the method and results. Keep in mind the added health and environment issues though.

Find fine steel mesh and cut piece. Shape it to a dome and put it inside the jar. This way you can push and squeeze the brush without touching the bottom of the jar. It is much more effective than only diping it.

My kerosene damages brush faster. I use cheep linseed oil then liquide soap to long life brushes.

Kerosene. There are new options that are safer but many old-shool artists insist kerosene is best.
