nice, have you thought about doing a load of 9 degree pie cuts of 2.5 inch exhaust pipe? Then you can tack it altogether in place then put it on the bench and give your fancy tig welder a run for its money.
I bought the set of SS pipes - lets see how that goes!
My mate also put a intercooler in his 4bd1,it's a good project would like to do it to my rig now😊😊😊
If you need any bend templates done then, as usual just shout up. The only limiting factor will be the max size of your printer output paper size, although I can put 'break' lines in and you can stick pieces together if need be. Looking forward to seeing at all back together and the results.

Maybe it has already been explained or I am failing to see why a different turbo with the orientation front to back and having the dump pipe on the firewall side isn't a thing...The current chickenwing dump pipe seems so unintuitive....
Screw on / solderless cable nipples, loads of sizes available on ebay.

I think it would cost a fortune to send to the UK - it is quite large and heavy!
Hiya mike it being a recent vid i thought it was worth asking here. Im rebuilding a salinsury axle and gotta make up some dummy bearings. Did you ever find a good size for the inner diameter to make it a good push fit. As i assume going off your bearing dimensions drawing the 2.250 would still be an interference fit on the diff. Was guessing either 5/10 thou but not to sure. Cheers if you could assist on it 👍
JP put them on his honing machine to get them to slide on, so it is not much we didn't measure them afterwards

On the first diff I did with these, they were great - on the second I had to go back and have them honed out a bit more
A question: I have fitted a discovery 300 tdi in my 110. I want to fit the original type airfilter bracket to the engine, this involes loosening and removing two head bolts. Would youloosen all. Then re-tourque all, loosen just two, or take he head off and change the gasket if disturbing the head bolts? Engine is fine now, so dont really want to muller it.
You should be OK, just undoing the 2 bolts - I have done it before
If you did end up going for intercooling the 4bd1t, most people end up drilling holes into the inner side winds near the headlights for the intercooler hose as you mentioned.
What are your thoughts for using a t5d/tdci intercooler and radiator in place of the 4bd1 radiator? This would allow for minimal to no cutting of the inner wings for the piping.
If this would work i'd go for an aftermarket one to avoid the having plastic radiator ends.
We have hardly any Td5 or Tdci here
Bit of a tight bend for the exhaust, I'm thinking it not good for free flowing performance and will it glow cherry red on the bend ??? yet I could be totally wrong and it will be perfectly fine.
I have a better plan....

You can always cut back, but you cannot lengthen
