Khabib pushed the action landed more punches and busted Tibau's eyebrow. Tibau did Zero ran the whole fight and was on the defensive. Khabib won clearly.

UFC is a show and they're interested in active fighters, not ones who are just defending (even successfully) themselves. That's why judges gave the win to Khabib. My congratulations and deep respect for him. He's a great fighter and a real man!
have no idea why rogan thought tibau won. you can't win a fight simply because you stuffed alot of td's. khabib might have been throwing wildly and didn't get a takedown but he was constantly moving forward and did more damage. good decision.
agreed, although i love rogan, everybody makes mistakes, the times khabib got taken down he immediately got up and even landed a few good punches against tibau, plus all that control against the cage, i'm sure joe regrets saying those things in hindsight
Exactly Tibau wasn't doing anything. I was mad as hell at Joe Rogan during the the fight, for bullshit commentary, when they announced the decision I was relieved that the guy did not get robbed.

It wasn't as much as a robbery as some people think it was. As much as Khabib couldn't take him down once, and missed a lot of punches, Tibau didn't do anything to capitalize on those mistakes and misses! Khabib won clearly for me, because he actually landed some good stuff AND showed more aggression and octagon control - a big part of scoring. I hope his boxing gets better. Competition will get harder from here.
