    This is the best iPad Lightroom tutorial out there. The quality of this video is nuts. It covers everything one needs to know. I have an iPad pro 11 and there is some stuff in Lightroom I have never touched because I do not know how it works but all thanks to you, I will be using your video as a guide.

  • @princessglitsylitcy9040

    Thank you so much for this video, it’s very helpful because I don’t have a good laptop dedicated to editing so I am not able to use desktop. Mobile is my only option and it’s difficult to find helpful videos for Mobile Lightroom. I am a new photographer and just beginning to learn editing. What did you click to see the before or originally image?

    Does the IPad Pro accept the pictures as .RAW images even AFTER you’ve AirDropped them? If not, I’d definitely invest in that dongle.

    GREAT video! My classes just went into the iPad world with Lr and we've used Adobe's tutorials from Adobe Max with Ben W. He used the desktop and mobile version to explain the platform. Your iPad description with only help and support my students growths! Your video is much appreciated!

    • @JMWilyat
      @JMWilyat  Před 3 lety +1

      If you use the "export as" feature there is a custom resolution option. If you want it to be a square aspect ratio such as 1600x1600 you'll first need to crop the image to a square before exporting the custom resolution at 1600 for the long side.

    In your personal experience, may one *benefit* from Apple's Mini-LED display for the M1 iPad Pro 12.9' during post-processing (in Photoshop Lightroom)? Or will one only get to witness the "glory" brightness of 1000 nits and beyond *only* when *viewing* HDR content? I've been told that Apple's new XDR projects at around 500/ 600 nits during normal usage. Also, you notice any micro-contrast detail improvements when editing on the 12.9' mini-LED vs the normal 11'? Please advise, and thank you in advance.

    Would you recommend the iPad pro over a laptop for photography main editing device?

    • @JMWilyat
      @JMWilyat  Před 3 lety +4

      Hi Ashley, that’s a great question. I do think it depends on the type of shooting you’re doing. If economy of size is a priority for you and you need the lightest and most minimal photography setup I would recommend the iPad Pro over a laptop. If you have the space to store a laptop however you can get better performance when working on large collections of photos.
