Fun fact: Manga Ribrianne actually fell in love with Krillin lol and called 18 ugly. She and the other two maidens all admired Krillin's handsomeness
I think it is the same in the anime but that it was changed in the English dub. In the version of the episode I watched (Japanese with Spanish subtitles) Ribrianne calls Krilin beautiful and out of 18's league as well.

@@Animelon nope, in the anime Ribrianne does think Krillin is ugly, both in sub and dubs. Only manga changed it to Krillin being handsome for Universe 2's standarts and Wiss makes fun of him for it

In the Manga, Ribrianne is slightly different as she focuses more on beauty over love. The funny thing is that when she sees Krillin, she actually gets a crush on him and believes that Krillin is out of 18's league.
I think in some subs it is the same. I was really confused when she dismissed Krilin, since in the version of this episode that I watched it happened as you said.
It kinda doesn’t make sense that she was clowning krillin looks. Since ribrianne was supposed to be much more beautiful than just brianne in their universe. Her saying that 18 was out of krillin league was what I was expecting to happen.

I think that is a thing with the USA dub and they just change the dialogues, because Ribrianne talks how care they about both (love and beauty) but she always mentions beauty over love, other thing could be some of 18 dialogues, because she never talks about how much she loves Krillin but she show it and for what I saw, when she is making a reference of Krillin she does it with a lot of love when her personality shouldn't let her show it. Like you mentiones before Ribrianne saying that Krillin is ugly would be other "error". I think I saw other but I don't remember. And the subtitles are kind of pointless because they aren't a direct translation or adaptation from japanese, looks like someone just made the subtitles based in what the dubbed version says when a good subtitle should be based in the original language, not in the dubbed version.
I love the concept behind the Universe 6 Namekians. It’s something fans have speculated about for years.

Just in case you were wondering, the point of the Universe 2 girls in DBS and the ToP is that they are parodies of Magical Girls. A bit like how Universe 11 is a parody of superheroes (I mean, Goku vs. Jiren is basically Toriyama + Toriyotaro's version of Goku vs. Superman, even down to Jiren having his own version of Eye Beams -- also they've got a Flash in Dyspo, and I'm not sure on who Toppo is based, but the closest hero I can think of is probably the Hulk).

Honestly Catopesra (suit guy) gets slept on because he’s not that strong at base, but the dude has serious potential. His transformations are really quick and they’re in the same tier as Super Saiyan 3.

Thank you for pointing out the comment about the women. They had the female version of the Legendary Super Saiyan originally shown to be more powerful than even the most talented warriors except for basically Jiren. Then they say once she has control that she is even more powerful than before. Somehow after that she is weaker than Goku and even after fusing with that universe's version of early Goku, the fusion is still weaker.
They then make the nerf more insulting by having the broly movie see broly overpowering post tournament of power blue goku and vegeta and golden frieza. They were the perfect characters to have women shine much brighter than they did.

*CYBORGS 17 and 18* are without a doubt the best tag team in all of Dragon Ball! If 18 trained as much as 17 and got up to his level I genuinely think they would be unstoppable.

I wish for Android 18 to become stronger, like to the levels of her brother and Goku and Vegeta, and just up there with the big dogs.
I also wish to see Android 18 use force-fields like her brother Android 17.
I wish she had an attack version of the shield instead like a barrier piercing attack, sadly she never got any special abilities of her own while 17 got a bunch of iconic moves.
I feel like making the self-absorbed lardass the defender of love and beauty, who's also a hypocrite for making fun of Krillin, is supposed to be a critique about girl boss feminism. But that would be giving the writers way too much credit.

Universe 2 is a parody of Shojo animes and mangas, like Sailor Moon. That's why they battle for "love", have ridicule battle transformations, and useless male hype guys. In my opinion, they're the funniest universe in all 12, but if you haven't watched those types of anime or don't know about it, they can be annoying.

Its not "Love Defeats Love", its Real Love (that 18 has for Krillin and Marian) defeats Imaginary Love (oh, they have to be cute, and act a certain way, love love love... you can tell this twit never had a real relationship)
So in the anime its not really explained but ultra instinct isnt a god technique but an angel technique.
As for vegeta i wont say what happens here but currently in the manga he founds a path that suits him(the path of still taking l.).
