As a photographer i just love this vlog. One can see the conflict that's going on in your mind to decide if you want to move, stay put or find a different comp. Plus the hit and miss of shooting different comps and trying out different shots. Most vlogs just cover the best parts but this one was very relatable.

Some beautiful work Michael! I would be interested in how you were able to combine some of these images. There was so much movement in the surf, and it appeared that your tripod was moving, yet the rocks and sea stacks were in focus. It appeared that you were bracketing manually as opposed to allowing your camera to do that for you. All in all, I loved the video and the images you came away with.

Really nice video and images! I occasionally shoot seascapes and use a Sony body too. I highly recommend protecting the hotshoe with the Nikon hotshoe cover that Nick Page recommends. The smallest splash of water in there will cause you great frustration possibly for weeks. The plastic Sony insert is useless. Again, wonderful images! Inspiring.

firstly, I love the style of this vlog and being able to see you do the work from your go-pro. To see exactly how you are creating the images and how you react to the scene is awesome! Keep that coming. Seeing you in action is fantastic and a great learning opportunity for us viewers.
Secondly, could you do a video for how you edited one of the multiple exposure images. I reckon that would be great!

Wonderful set of photos. Love watching how you set up your shots and the thought process that goes into it without being long winded. One question I have is why you don’t use an L-bracket, seems like it would make your tripod a lot more stable in wavy conditions. It’s one of the first accessories I buy when getting a camera.
