Good video, I agree with your philosophy here. Focusing on using the standard mons is always better in the long run. The standard mons are always going to be those that are most consistent and flexible, as you point out.
Often players are hesitant to go overly-standard expecting to be too predictable, but standard pokemon are standard for a reason, and people overlook that.
This is a brilliant part 2 to passive damage
Great vid and highly informative. I feel like I know and understand team archetypes and how and why stall/HO are inconsistent but never cared to put it into words. Now if I’m trying to explain it to someone I can just link them this
nice vid
I can’t sleep so I get to be the first one to watch a McMeghan video 🎉
Correct me if I get anything wrong. So you say that offensive style requires experience to know how to make gameplans which are needed to break defensive cores but that this isn't the case for stall.
Then why are there people that say thwy are more inclined towards one or the other?
I for one believe that I am atrociously bad at stall in gsc, yet I feel like with offence (especially bulky types) I can handle both extremes.
It would be nice to understand how to approach stall for someone that has always played offence, if that's a topic you would like to cover.
There is definitely an affinity for given playstyles based on a player's preference and strong points. Some people are just naturally better at identifying and playing out defensive gameplans and others are better with offensive gameplay.
The best way to approach a new playstyle is to try it out and grind it out I'd say. In fact, most people get better at building and playing against Stall by using it in the first place. The better you understand it (and its weaknesses), the better you'll deal with it yourself.
Dope video. Just subscribed. "Gist" is pronounced "jist" in english. Just a respectful tip :D

I have an affinity for using inconsistent, niche or borderline useless pokemon such as scarf cloud nine golduck on a gen5 sun team.
Someone help.

Pourquoi tu rages sur Dug ? Noob. ❤️
Will you ever stream Emerald Kaizo in English?

Faut envoyer cette vidéo au public de Fildrong, ces abrutis dès qu'ils voient 3 Pokémons qui se soignent hurlent au stall 😂😂😂
