Good call. Yep, when he was eating the beans and bread and washing it down with wine. I first saw that back in about 1982 and was thrilled at how he scarfed down that food and was so satisfied.
I remember that episode and they was like a group of animals eating and Bud and Kelly had to go home to get Al's wallet and the money to pay for their meal. Al and Peggy ended up having to wash dishes because the kids didn't bring the money back.
I also remember Al going to random people and claiming that they owed him money. Their girlfriends/wives made the men pay what "Al owed them" Then when Al had enough to pay for the family's meals he ran into someone who he owed the money to and lost all the money he collected.
That’s the restaurant manager I saw the scene happen over and over again in real life the only difference is the trip to the bathroom was just an excuse to go to the bar and get a shot of whiskey by the time the Family would leave-I would be wondering how is the Man even still alive
