Today we play with Iridescent paper! Nadia from LiaDia Designs experiments with various colors of pigmented resin and iridescent paper to get beautiful effects! Which one is your favourite?

----SERIES DESCRIPTION----
The focus of this series is to have fun, be completely random and embrace my creative curiosity (aka being totally distracted by some new idea😅🙈). I will be testing out ideas based on my resin knowledge and various medium techniques I've learned throughout my life as an artist. These videos will be mini tutorials and you'll see if I succeed or fail (for fails, I'll discuss where I think things went wrong). The plan is 3 of these mini tutorial videos per week plus my weekly full tutorial. 😊💖 I hope you'll join me for some fun times!
* I have not taken and will not be intentionally using anyone's else's tutorial techniques in my videos... if there are similarities in techniques, it's completely coincidental.*

If you use less white and gold marks, then use a straw to blow the lines out, you'll get another very nice look.

Wow these are just freaking beautiful!!Jewerly for your home! Put resin on the paper before putting in the mold. That way you will have resin touching resin. It should avoid air pockets that way. It should also help avoid floating which can also cause air pockets. I also agree you shouldn’t have done full colored resin on top. I’m thinking a shearer almost clear color will be better. Either way you created some amazing pieces.

I haven’t been playing with my iridescent wrap since I had a failure at the beginning. Your lovely coasters have inspired me to try again. I was expecting the bubbles on the bottom, but I don’t think it detracts from the finished coasters at all.

Yes, I think you're right...I believe I tried that on the pink one and that one had the least (and smallest bubbles). Now that I'm aware of it, I'll try to be more careful and slower to lay them down.. hopefully that helps🤩💖 thank you!

Thank you💕 I used to sand my edges manually, but the dremel makes it much faster and easier... especially with large orders!😊

Your coasters are beautiful. please can i ask how you get your edging to look so good. i used a pen and it was a disaster and got everywhere?

What did you use on the outside of the coaster that gold look?
What do you do when the leftover resin?
I have small flower, heart and crystal molds that I pour the extra into😊
That gold finish on the edges that you add is it water resistant?
Yes it is..I find it best to let fully cure for a few weeks
