So the Soul Forfeit ability halves your Offense gauge for the rest of the match. Not like you regain halves of your Defense gauge after you get Chip Avoided and Last Breath. That for easy access to one use critical hits that deals reduced damage.
Not trying to be a hater and maybe this guy is that good but I don't think this was on very hard. The computer's combos were sloppy and the fatal blow took off waaaaay too much life. Ijs

I always noticed on the 2nd round is when the AI decides it’s time to go ham. Especially on hard or very hard difficulty.
Literally..jumping is the key to very hard. I don’t even use jump and win on very hard. Use different moves. Makes it more interesting
