Here’s the full song!!! I hope you enjoy this nostalgia overload! This 6 minute video took 40+ hours of editing, but I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!! For this project, I wanted to tell a story by intertwining a variety of animated films like Disney, Dreamworks, and Studio Ghibli. I really tried connecting each scene by grouping together moments with similar elements and by transitioning between dark and vibrant color sequences to create emotion and a build up.

I always come back to this video to read comments like these. You all have helped me realize my calling to want to pursue film and animation. The emotion and catharsis that can come from motion pictures visuals and composition is truly something spectacular and if it took me making this silly montage to figure that out, I’m glad I made it:)

As someone with serious mental health issues, I have trouble keeping myself from going numb. I have used animation as a coping mechanism for as long as I can remember, Disney, Dreamworks, Pixar, Anime, Studio Ghibli, 3D, 2D, shorts, and full cinematic masterpieces. I've used all of it, through highs and lows. Some find it amusing or ridicule me for loving animation because its "for kids". Due to that and many other internal problems, as of late I have trouble using even that. I was scrolling through TikTok because I really don't know what else to do with my time anymore, movies and books and other activities, require to much commitment. But I happened upon your page, and as I scrolled I found the last clip, I soon realized there was more, and as soon as I saw there was a full video I came straight here. I watched it, watched it again, and watched it four more times. When I tell you I felt something, I do not just mean sadness or joy. I felt everything. It has been so long since I let go like that, and I needed it. I sobbed to say the least, and I intend to keep coming back to remind myself to feel and hold on to it. All of this to say, I'm not just appreciating your frankly phenomenal work, the use of cues, and color, and vast understanding of emotions, and characters, and animation, was breathtaking. I am so thankful from the bottom of my heart for your creation of this very specific voice telling me to live.
You've got big things ahead of you, and I agree with everyone in the comments saying this should be viral, not just for my personal investment, but because you have a gift. Keep at it no matter what stands in your way. You're going to touch the lives of so many people someday, but for now you have the thanks of this one. Who I assure you you have touched.

This is why I want to become an animator, knowing that your work made a kid's childhood amazing is what I live for. The world need more joy and before I go I want to leave something behind.
I feel the exact same way. My vocational calling is definitely storytelling and my favorite medium is animation and the magic and deep emotion that comes from it. More adults need to realize how incredible these movies are. And I’d argue, these movies are for children and what I mean by that is, I believe every human has a childlike essence that continues with them into their elderly years and it’s the wonder and excitement and curiosity. There’s a difference with childlike and childish. Lacking maturity and being young isn’t what I mean, it’s the joy and wonder of humanity that has to be realized by people who think it’s childish

As someone who grew up with Ghibli, DreamWorks and Disney, you just flashes my entire childhood in front of my eyes. And now I'm currently crying.
These animators and directors really are something else! I was so emotional making this. Realizing the impact these films had on me as a kid and how the meanings continue to resonate even deeper as an adult now. I’m happy it resonated with you too:)

This my childhood it made me who i am today and we are those ppl that need to remind everybody the reason why animation is important to protect. So everybody who sees this fight for animation purness we all remember want need and blossom. Thats why i want to be an animator because of disney pixar anime dreamworks, every other amazing animation studios

Animation is a medium that can create memories and are unforgettable when used right.
Some people knew this, some carry on the torch while others stumble and forget this in favor for the money, forgetting that risk and effort is rewarded while half measures result in mixed and low results.
Remember that stories, this medium and risks that what built these companies but when they forget this they suffer.

I'm so grateful to have grown up when animation used to tell great stories and introduce use to such wonderful characters. Will we ever see such great stories ever again, or has that time come and gone much like my childhood, never to be experienced again?
The storytelling animation can do is really magical. I’m also so grateful I grew up with these. My love for them will continue till I have kids of my own and I hope they appreciate these as much as I do and that the future of animation can produce new original films that keep the magic going :)

I didn't really have the best childhood, but then again who ever does, but damn do I miss the innocence of my childhood. Truly in my humble opinion, these were some of the best movies you could have grown up with and this video did a perfect job summing it up, thank you so much, keep up the good work.

Also happened to come across your tiktok first so thank god for the FYP. For the first time in my life, I've started to accept the fact that I am becoming an adult. I'm moving into my own apartment far away from my family, my brother just got married etc. It's been a lot to process obviously. I watch this video (and your other one Fire and the Flood) at least once a week to remind myself that it'd okay to hang onto my childhood and return to that feeling of excitement and wonder and optimism. You have an unbelievable talent for practical editing and timing as well as transitions between similar scenes and feelings across hundreds of movies. I have never seen anything like it. Well done. The first time I watched it I cried because it evoked such a deep emotion in my soul, not just nostalgia but a lot of feelings that I thought were disappearing with my childhood. But this video reminds me of multiple things. The comfort I have always found in animation and music, the reasons why I am pursuing an acting career, and the feeling of it's okay to be a dreamer. This absolutely shattered me. Animations always have been there for me whenever I felt like absolute crap or whenever I thought I couldn't go on. So this just helps to remind me how much animation helped me crawl out of those dark holes and times that I was stuck in.
