Великолепный автомобиль, у меня Previa 1996 года, не перестаю им восхищаться, но, к сожалению состояние похуже Вашей. Хочу сделать из своей машины проект, но есть трудности с деталями

I remember calling these egg vans as a kid because of the curve on the front.

My friend had this with 250k miles. Just oil changes and regular maintenance was all he did

I wonder if this still works smoothly in -50 Canadian winters.

Supercool! Only downside is having a single rare sliding door on the left in a right driving country (thinking bout children there) Otherwise, especially the size of this makes a lot of sense to me...

Would be annoying parking on the side of a road you're right

Here in Germany we had the Previa too, for two generations. But to say, in the class of the vans that were sold at the time, he was the unwanted ugly stepchild doesn't even begin to discribe it...😅
Previas were so rarely seen on the streets like no other. And for sure it was the design that doesn't fit the european taste like those Renault Espace, VW Sharan, Ford Galaxy, Peugeot 806 and
other more 'euro-tasty' ones.^^ But today I've a totaly different oppinion. It's more like a design icon of the van class including the mid engine and unique style outside and inside aspecially for
the first gen Previa.😁😋 These days it's really hard to even find one for sale or if so that he hasn't run over 250k/km+ or simply is a rust bucket.🤭😏 So prices are fairly hight and under
at least 5.5k € there goes nothing. That's mostly for the 2nd gen type, 1st gens in a good condition under 180k/km are nearly not to find or did appear 'once or twice' a year.
The very best, in my view, is to import one from Japan because overall they're better. (condition, prices, model variants, equip etc.) Around 10-15 years ago the majority of those
'ugly duckling' car from every type were sold for export to Eastern Europe and parts of Africa as unwanted and unsoldable in our region. So they got even thinner in appearing here.^^

You can import the later versions, even a hybrid one from Japan. You don't want a beautiful hammer, just a practical one. Style is a bonus. 😉

@@worldhello1234 Yeah, you're kinda right, I'd agree. But only the first versions of the Estima/Previa had this - typical-querky-jap-spacevan-appearence - therefor 'style' is some sort of essential (at least for me in their case :p), ya know what I mean.^^ Hybrid so far so good and we know Toyotas tech in that works way more better (reliable + x-100tsd. km/mls etc.) than some others but my experiance (by looking on different market portals in J) is that the newer ones by nature have a highter price and even the older ones are much less in numbers, their prices are in ~50% a bargain, compared to the new. But the preference depends from person to person - good so, or our business in cars would be boring asf. :D
