Great video ! It was my favourite PSP game when I was a child, even my Friends liked to take my console to play it. The gameplay ans the graphisms were so impressive for a portable console.
Modders actually managed to port entire BT3 roster into this game, including giant characters. Which basically means you can have portable BT3 without tournaments but with 2v2 fights.
Yeah but theres nothing special about it. Alot of those mods looks like shit and the characters are all fucked up. Unless youre an actual modder and knows what youre doing
My only issue is that the story mode was underwhelming. Why not pull a Shin Budokai and make your own story along with static images in cutscenes instead of retelling dbz for the 100th time? Could have saved a lot of space and be able to add the rest of the tenkaichi 3 roster.

Currently catching up on a lot of gaming titles I missed over the last 2 decades since I haven't really had the time or interest to indulge since PS2.(briefly had a 360 with black ops 2 but never really played it so sold it). Its been refreshing some PSP titles such as FFVII, Kingdom Hearts, Soul Caliber, Tekken, Shin Budokai and just now starting tag team. Excited for the recent new announcement of Budokai 4.
I really want to play DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 since way back, but then when i discovered this it's like playing the same game but in portable 😁😁 So amazing highly recommend 🥰👍👍
I am in the minority I think until Kakarot Budokai Tenkaichi 2 was the only game that covered with high details the story of Z even the filler and the GT. For that I liked it more than bt3 and i truly appreciate 3 but only bought it because of the original dragon ball part. Db is my favorite and I think it deserves more recognition. Anyway I really enjoyed the tag team game it was fun. Unfortunately unlike shin Budokai I didn't have other friends to play it online. I was the only one that bought it back then

I played the first three Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi games on the PlayStation 2. Even I also played the worst Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi on Xbox 360. But I never played Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team on the PSP. I got that game, and the PSP handheld system alongside with Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai and Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road. And I am going to plan on playing Tenkaichi Tag Team in the future.
I unfortunately never played this game, but I wanted to ask: why do you not consider Raging Blast part of the Tenkaichi series? They're also by Spike and the gameplay builds upon the BT3 gameplay
I'll do Raging Blast reviews eventually as well, is just that I did the series for the games with the name: "Tenkaichi" on it's title, but I'm aware they are developed by Spike and takes a lot from the Tenkaichi play style

Not sure if you know but there’s mods for this game that add more characters than the original, such as ones from BT3 that didn’t appear in this game and DBS characters, I’ve been playing one on my jailbroken psp.

Good shit bro. Bt2 and 3 were nice but a portable tenkaichi game in 2010 was a vibe. Still my favorite psp game to this date

It made zero sense not to include 2v2 or more multiplayer modes in further installments of the series.
They need to expand on the 2v2 they did in tag team in the new Budokai Tenkaichi, maybe make it a 4v4

I loved the story mode I felt like I was reliving the story. It was detailed enough could’ve had a little more details but great nonetheless
