Normally, I would blame the judge, but at the 1:50 minute mark, the video says the judge gave the maximum penalty. Just under 14 years is the MAXIMUM sentence for attempted murder???!!!

I believe he took a plea deal so I assume that's the prosecutors would offer if he plead guilty to the charges instead of taking it to trial.

Abusers are often at their worst when the victim leaves or threatens to leave because they can't control them and they may resent legal expenses or paying alimony etc. It's attempted murder though if he can't have her he didn't think anyone should or he didn't want her or as I mentioned the complexities of a legal seperation.

I’m sure he will be fully rehabilitated in 13 years (or, more likely, released in 8 to 10).

They serve the country and then the country don't even help them get the help they clearly deserve. He is a victim victimising. People fail to see the victimisation doesn't stop at the vetran but the entire family tied to them. 😢

I’m sure PTSD totally made him think his wife was an enemy combatant that he needed to hide and get away with the murder of.
      Funny how that works
