  • Two overseas combat deployments will give a person something to think about. Erik Villaseñor served in the US Army infantry in Iraq and Afghanistan, finishing his time in the infamous Korengal Valley, featured in Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington's 2014 documentary on the war in Afghanistan. Today Villaseñor lives with his family in Colorado and he works full time with military veterans. He also volunteers as a mountain bike trip leader with VetEx where he sees first hand the power of creating community through shared experiences in the outdoors.
Veterans Expeditions (VetEx) serves military veterans of all eras by offering a supportive vet community, forged through shared adventures and expeditions through our nation's wild public lands. To learn more, or get involved, visit vetexpeditions.com
