In the spiritual battle we have an enemy, Satan. This enemy wants to destroy us and will use everything he can to try and destroy what he can in our lives. It is important that we understand his resistance of us and how to fight against him in the Power of God.

I have been so blessed by this series. I just have one question though. At 54:04 he mentions a missionary that was possessed by a demon... But how can that be if demons can't possess those who are saved?
They can. They may have come in as a child before you got saved or through sin if we step outside of fellowship with God. They can be cast out because they are squatters.

One example. Can a born again Christian sin terribly? Watch pornography? Become angry? Gossip? Lie?
Be full of pride or jealousy? We're not supposed to, but we can! Light and darkness.
And if we sin in that moment are we covered in the blood of Christ for spiritual protection? We are not. We are out of fellowship.
We are still saved but we make the blood of Jesus of no effect in our lives because we have no fellowship with him because of sin. (But we have an advocate with the Father, and when we repent we are brought back to him and restored to fellowship) Sin allows the roaring lion an opportunity to devour us. If a lion devoured you it wouldn't just be on the outside. He would eat all of you or take a mighty chunk out of you. Devour in Greek means to swallow down, to drown.
If you are walking with God in repentance they have no legal grounds to be there anymore. Yet they stay as squatters causing harm because no one has evicted them.
@@breakingbreadnutrition3403 Demons live in the flesh and the HolySpirit lives in our heart and guide saints using our spirit. It is important to learn about the flesh, mind will and emotions, satan wants to occupy our will to be us under his control for his wicked kingdom.
