- I have 4 old bike lights.
1. Some cheap $20 Chinese light from amazon
2. Cyclebeam Blinkrim 900
3. Nestling (Solarstorm) X3 3000 lumens (yeah right)
4. NiteRider Lumina 950 Boost
I thought I'd put them all on the bike, along with my Outbound Lighting Trail Evo and Hangover lights, to see what would happened.
It was underwhelming to say the least. I used to think these lights were fantastic, but side by side with the #OutboundLighting lights, they really aren't much more than a slight illumination.
The weight of the lights made the front of the bike handle like crap. One of the batteries slipped down the top tube and got wedged between the top of the shock and the top tube. I'm lucky it didn't explode.
I also forgot to turn on Wind Reduction after taking off the GoPro Media Mod, so the audio was completely FUBAR'd.
Eh, it gave me something to do on a Friday night... :\

This is a cool and bright night ride. Maybe you should think about fitting a really big car searchlight. That would be fun. Great!

This is just too much badass for one video. You were sailing around VMT and it looked cinematic...at the start of Mosquito Bite to VMT, the audio on the bike sounds incredible, just wondering if that's the media mod mic or not. As for missing the sounds of the south...the "Beltline" ...is calling your name sir, and it knows you appreciate partying on the bike...awesome job riding with the plot to match!
I took the media mod off (kept overheating) but forgot to turn the wind reduction on, which is why I had to patch music over most of the riding.
@@TooMuchBike ah gotcha! I'm dealing with this issue on a video, I might take your example and mute some parts, the media mod hates heat, but very cool it didn't stop you from getting a badass video out!! 👍🏁🏁🏁
