American Standard is so underrated. It's one of my favorite albums of the 90s.
I never understood why Rock Crown was such a hated album. That's not only my personal favorite from these guys but one of my favorites of all time.A friend showed me "Lucky" many years ago and I absolutely fell in love with this band.
Rock crown was great. So was economy of sound, dislocation, and day and night driving
Oven is my personal favorite! Lucky is number 2 for me on Rockcrown.
Rock Crown was before its time. Everyone was anticipating a full rock on album follow up to American Standard and when Rock Crown came out I think people were surprised about its mellow tone. Personally for me I love that album and it’s still my fav album from them. American Standard is a brilliant album in its own right but you can’t compare the two, it’s like comparing apples and oranges.
I think Rock Crown is a great album, People seem to hate Orange Avenue more tho I’ve noticed but Dislocation and D&ND i feel like nobody knows those albums existed because those were both there least popular
It reminded me of No Code from Pearl Jam. Both are my top two albums of all time and I think people expected more ‘hard hits’ and didn’t appreciate the actual musical and lyrical talent of Rock Crown
I just Love Seven Mary Three. From their American Standard debut thru Dislocation. These guys are so criminally underrated. It was nice seeing this show since I've never gotten the opportunity to see them Live ;-)
I have literally seen thousands of concerts but July 3 1997 Barrymores in Ottawa was pure magic, maybe my favourite concert of all time for the Rock Crown tour, the stage , the mood, the set list - unforgettable, sorry you never had a chance to see them.
well technically you would be wrong. their debut album was not American standard. if you really want to go to their debut album it was churn. it was the label that gave the album the name American standard. to me in my opinion I think the band got better through Time their album sales weren't giving them the respect they were due. one of my favorite if not my favorite song is hammer and a stone from their last album

I agree about them being massively underrated. I've seen them probably 6 or 7 times over the years. Even got to see Jason Ross do a private acoustic set for about 50 people. A friend won a secret location private session before the concert we were already going to see that night at Lupos heartbreak hotel in Providence RI. They also played at India point park and the Met Cafe.
Love this band and the memories they invoke. Brings me back with every 🎵🎶🎵

Everything they do touches me..This man's voice gives me shivers..Then one day I went down town to pay bills and there was a band playing..In Erie PA in the summer there always is..WH WHA WHAT??!! 7 MARY 3!! I'm originally from from Pittsburgh but that's when I truly appreciate ERIE!! And yes.. I got wet.. what? Wet? I didn't say that
SAw these guys at HOB CHICAGO and a few years later on the River in Louisville-highly underrated band and sonwriting. Lyrically one of the best of 90s altrock. Still love hearing Times Like These on a quiet summer night just around midnight, It brings a peacefulness to the world...
I was there that night. AS always 7M3 was awesome. Hard to believe it was 11 years ago...
One of my favorite bands! Completely under rated!! So many reasons I love this band & their song's. DFN being the most heartfelt reason. The Music will help soothe my broken heart David. 🙏💕👣

Great band.Saw them in little bar in Columbus georgia. They were awesome..missing them and their music. Still have the old ones.
Man, you guys were one of my constants back in the 90's. So many good memories tied to all of these songs! You guys are heavy on my playlist when camping/road trip'n, for sure. Right along side Willey, Waylon, Cash, Cornell, AIC, Floyd, Van Morrison to name a few. Cheers!!

Saw 7M3 early on in their career at the Moore Theater in Seattle. Loved them then, still love them to this day. One of the best all around sounds of their time.
I've been watching a few, and what I see is real rockers, it shows on your face that your loving yourselfs right now, feeling right. I appreciate that. I feel the same way. Thank you Seven Mary Three.❤

I love these guys....but I'm trying to figure out why he changed the drumming so much on Waters Edge. Studio version is way better and much more complicated to play. I start playing drums when these guys came out, needless to say I played this album many times. Great show though! Please your more 🤘

I think the thing that hurt the most was when Aerosmith canceled the tour they were supposed to go on with Seven Mary Three. I think things would have turned out much different. I believe that they would have had more wide spread acceptance if they were able to tour with them.
These guys have a great sound for three guitars and a drummer. I miss Alternative Music, the 1990’s and my 20’s and 30’s. Take me back ole cruel world......

And Day and night driving is the best album no one has ever heard. Sad but true. All of them are actually very good but day and night driving is another level. SLow and twangy but still the slow ones are just too good to not be consumed en masse.
Who is this drummer he totally change the feel of the songs I know because I used to play these songs on drums this has totally different style, bummer I love the original drummer style.
