Ironically I liked Vanessa more than Ariel.
Not ironically, Javier Bardem as King Triton was good
He wasn't bad, but I thought there could have been a better pick for Triton. He did have good on screen presence though.

@@zaxx not really. In Andersen's story there is no character named Ursula.
@@patrikwurfel435 There's a Sea Witch. I'm not on a first name basis with her, but she was in The Little Mermaid. The original one. The source material. Denmark sounds like a party. Fun facts: There's no Ariel or Triton in The Little Mermaid (there's a Sea King). I wonder who those characters were based on.......
