  • Follow along on a 5 days canoe trip & wild camping in Vistadalen in July 2021. Vistasdalen or Vistasvagge as it is called on the maps is a beautiful valley located in the Kebnekaise area. Our plan was to make a canoeing trip in lake Karats in Jokkmokk but since we expected strong winds we made the decision to relocate to the Kebnekaise area and the more protected valley Vistasdalen. That was a good decision and we had a really nice wild camping trip with beautiful views of the surroundings of Kebnekaise, canoeing in the blue water of the river Vistasjohka
    We started and end our canoe adventure in Nikkaluokta.

      There is lots of nice places around Jokkmokk for hiking, camping, canoeing etc. I know nothing about salt water fishing. But the people who starts doing that are often 'lost' and just continues travel to Norway for more fishing...

    Such great content again mate. You make such amazing videos. Really feel like one is following along on your journeys. I'm sure you channel will grow very quickly! Your collie dog seems so lovely also. My family have always had sheep dogs growing up (I'm from the Scottish Highlands originally). Me and my partner are looking to buy our first dog soon and will probably get a collie to take on our journeys. I hope one day to make it up to Jokkmokk and the surrounding areas, very beautiful. Then we also have 2 original crazy creek's, which are a bit cheaper: amzn.to/3iO7PbS

    Do you ever worry about the Bears when you camp ??

    • @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA
      @JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA  Před 2 lety +1

      Nope...
      In Sweden and Europe we have had an active brow bear hunting since looking time ago. All bears that's not shy will be killed. This gives us a shy population.
      They take of directly when you come close to them.
      So... there is no reason to be scared but of course I don't feel comfortable all the time when brown bears are close or if I'm totally alone fare out there duringthe dark autumn. ... Buy its totally without reason.
