I wanted to show my son how to make these but forgot how to start them. I use to make these all the time 20 years ago but always had a friend start them for me, Your video is amazing and very easy to follow! Thank you!
I haven't done this for years and couldn't remember for the life of me how to do it, I must say a tried a few videos and find them complicated yours was the easiest, thank you 🙏
Thank you so much! At first I failed and I had to do it again, but in the end I got a really nice blue and white one! All the other vids were confusing, but I got it this one. I love the way you explain it. Thanks!!!!
I love making these! I started doing this in gr.3 and its so fun! Its a little complicated to make the first stitch thingy but you will get the hang of it!
so i just did 2 WHOLE hours of learning how to start my box stitch off, I went on Pinterest for ideas tried asking my mom for help but she said I knew how to do it and all I had to do was to find a video. I'm not joking but your video really helped me. Thanks!
Lovely description. I have subscribed because I need your help every time I start this stitch. I want to learn other stitches too, and I know I will be able to, with your help. Thank you.
Thank you so much for being so detail-oriented speaking at somewhat of a slow rate so that I'm able to pay attention to what you're saying in the streams at the same time which is very difficult you have made a big difference in my life I'm able to now dutemple things to take up my time and decrease my anxiety I look forward to seeing a lot of your videos
In my childhood I use to make lanyards, under 2 & over 1, having either a diamond or spade stitch. The way you grouped your threads determined diamond or spade. Then our playground instructor would do a "box stitch" around the lanyard so you could wear it around your neck. I'm hoping to use this box stitch so it's adjustable.
thank you so much you made it to simple to understand and it helped me do it thank you so much i found this really useful becasue i saw alot of other vids and tehy did not show it so clearly! 😀😀😀😀
I used to do this in camp when I was little I am a teen now and am finally going back to camp I was obsessed with this forgot how to do it but but I’m learning again so I can do it at camp
Okay I just did this with embroidery silk and it also works for that! I was able to get it right up against the knot that I tied. Thank you so much, you are a life saver!!
Questions: 1) If using wire, still on a spool, what length should each piece be cut to for 6", 7", or 8" of total weave? 2) For those of us brave enough to use precious metal wire, what is the mathematical calculation/formula for figuring out the needed wire lengths? Thanks!
