In this video, I will be breaking down my entire process, from pre-production to filming, and all the way to the editing. And if you watch till the end, you can see all the fails too… :D

Great video! 🫶🏻
juan, thanks lots, so glad you enjoyed it!🫶
I got the 18-105 f4 as part of a deal and I originally intended on selling it without a second thought but I decided to use it a few times and I quickly realized this is one of the most unique and versatile lenses out there
oh wow, that’s crazy - it’s literally so good😅😅so glad you didn’t sell haha!! what do you shoot / what do you mostly use it for?😃
@@TejaLisjak I want to make youtube videos!
I made 1 already and have been recording since, deciding what I want my channel to be about and trying to improve my knowledge of film as I used to be only a photographer.
i’m the same - best to just go for it and figure out as you go honestly!! you’ll develop your style eventually!♥️🔥
you are going places
TOO KIND!!♥️it’s nice getting notifications on this video since it’s been a while since i posted!! big love♥️
Is there a “Light Rays” function equivalent for Final Cut Pro - the way you made it look at 8:50? It’s amazing that the function knew to only apply the light rays to the gas station lights.
hi, first off - thanks for the comment, it’s so fun reading these🫶unfortunately, i’ve only used final cut a few times in my life in 2015, so i wouldn’t be able to give you a right answer! perhaps have a look online, or in the software - let me know if you can find it, i’d be super interested to know!
That's super interesting how you go from Premiere Pro to Da Vinci and back. Have you considered doing everything on Da Vinci? I'm asking because I just switched over to Da Vinci and there are things I miss about Premiere Pro.
hi!! omg funny you ask - i literally just transferred all my premiere pro shortcuts to davinci, as i want to start editing there🔥i think i’ll stick to premiere for fast-pace short-form content, but anything long-form (films etc.) i’ll be doing in davinci from now on!🔥
what is it that you’re missing in davinci?😃
@@TejaLisjak There are some minor things like remixing audio with Audition and project file compatibility. The biggest for me was customizable layouts. I feel like with Premiere Pro, you can get away with editing on a laptop. With Da Vinci Resolve, I almost always find myself needing a monitor since you can't adjust the layout much.
Thoughts on the ZV-E1?? Full frame with the same sensor as the FX3 and A7SIII with amazing low light capabilities. Really leaning towards getting that over the FX30! I will primarily be doing short burst clips and not long form commercial work so the the "overheating" wont be a huge issue haha. Would love to get your insight. Cheers.
heey! thanks for the comment, good to have you here! actually, sony was so kind and they lent me the zv-e1 for the next few weeks so i can see how it is. i’m a primarily the a7s iii user, so having the 12800 high base iso is a super important feature! i’d say it also depends on the budget - it costs more, but if you’re looking to also use it for work, then it’s an amazing shout!🎥let me know if you have any more questions xx
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you mate, hope it was useful♥️
wild
ohh hvala!🤩
Did you use a CFEXpress card? If so which one did you use? I'm just now getting into filmmaking and wanting to shoot short films with the FX30. It's my first camera.
heyyy, i used a Lexar 128GB 250MB/s V60 😃 amaazing glad to hear!🫶🔥🎥
Hi. May I ask what batteries you Trust for your cameras for long- Full day shoots Please? Thank you.
hiii, for sure! thanks for the comment - i use the original sony batteries, and also have 2 newmowa batteries which are incredible and super affordable! hope this helps😎📸 have you had the chance to watch the full short film? would love to hear your thoughts ♥️🎥
Is the film available to see?
yes, it’s up on my page called the ticket to cinematography😃
Which mic was it that you were using?
heey! i was using sony’s ECM-B10 microphone!🫶
