How To: Install Google Play Store on HUAWEI-MatePad Pro

- For 2weeks now I’ve been using this HUAWEI-MatePad Pro. For school work it has no issues but since Huawei App gallery doesn’t have all the apps might as well install Google Play store in this device. Been through a lot of APK’s in the net and instructions on CZcams and not everything works. So I decided to make this video to make things easier for you.. by the ways the APK link I got is from Earl Chin..
Here are the steps:
1.make sure your Matepad Pro is up to date
2.if you already installed APK’s and Apps might as well reset your device to factory reset.
3. Download file : bit.ly/m30proGApps

Hi, Have the apps been able to update ever since you did this back in July? Are you running into any sort of trouble with Google Play authenticating the apps you've installed or anything of that sort? Also, would the matepad be able to receive Android updates with the side loaded GMS?

Set the date on date before google banned huawei. It was around sept 2019.
Where can i can find the change date?

I'm looking into purchasing a Matepad Pro over Galaxy Tab S7 Pro because the latter is expensive. I'm happy that you have this tutorial video. My dilemma though is if the Matepad Pro would still still receive software and firmware updates after installing GPS. If it will, then I buy a Matepad Pro.

Hii Ms Charmaine, I'm stuck at the point of your video 6:27. once I installed every APK in the tablet and tap to open google PlayStore and tap sign-in, the sign-in button doesn't function, don't pop out anything like you do.

When I go to the backup and restore in setting, I don't have the option of restore, just backup. Any advice please?

Very apologetic, when the former does not support this facility. Cannot proceed to activate and change date etc.
GMS suite cannot activate 'wifi connection problem'.

it's better if you.reset it, and yes you connect it to your laptop to get the file

hi Han - i had an issue i have a mate Pad 10.4 and i tried your way that works fine till i noticed that the files i am restoring is only 4 MB not 67MB as the size you resotored and then the G program is not functioning

I think you may have to reset it. I bought mine a week ago and that's what I'm doing. I'm very unhappy that the sales person did not tell me that I could not access the Google Play Store on a Huawei device. That would have been nice to know.

I get untill the G logo, but then after that what appear in mine were different.. There is no activation button.. How is it??
hi Jan, i must say, that it doesn't work for me. When i hit the symbol with the G in 5:16 it wont let me activate it. It appear a blue button in the midle of the display and when i hit it the app close himself. Maybe because i have the newest version 11.10.08. I tryed the instructions of other tutorials and always is the same. But, your way was the easyest and the shortest one. And you explain it very well. Thanks!

Just tried your method for Play store install on my Matepad Pro MXR-W09 EMUI 10.1?0.151(C432E135R1P135) and failed "play protect error" installed on a cleaned pad.
