    I burned the card while I was doing BL Touch on the Ender 3 V2 motherboard. Now I have ordered a new card. V4.2.2.7 version one card. How do we make BL Touch and Motherboard cable connections. I don't want to burn again.

    • @DiyProJames
      @DiyProJames  Před 3 lety

      I hope you didn't burn the card watching my video. This is why I mentioned in part 1 of the video it's important to look at the diagram of the board and bltouch. Don't rely on the colors of the wires. On the 4.2.7 board it's labeled Ground Voltage Input Ground Output [ G, V, IN, G, OUT ]. Find the corresponding diagram for your version of bltouch. Check to see where the connections go. Also, go to www.antclabs.com/creality3d-board
      for resource.

      @@DiyProJames My motherboard order is on the way. I bought Creality Bl Touch and my motherboard version is 4.2.2 and I ordered 4.2.7 because the card was burned. I have no information on the subject. I was having trouble on the table. I said I should update but I did it according to the installation manual of Creality company but unfortunately the card burned.
      BL Touch photo link I got.

    I have an Ender 3 pro , got the CR touch but wouldnt fit my board so i got a 4.27 board , i have a sprite head too , the Creality firmware didn't work so i found myself here , then about 5 mins in with my head spinning I doubled down on the oem firmware , shortened the file name to "firmware.bin" with a good working SD card and the .bin as the only file on the entire card and it worked, more perfectly than i could have hoped for , everything just works , now back to printing plastic shtuff instead of getting a degree in unrelated sheet.

If any of yours is different download the right one. Once dl unzip the file and rename it then put it on a totally blank SD card and boot , a 4.27 board has a bootloader . Once I press "Auto home" the printer will home, go to center of bed and rise to 10mm above the bed like you have it set to, in the program... • @burbycianburbycianovich9274

    Hello Respectable Mr. DiyProJames! If you have an opportunity and time I ask you to answer 3 questions, I hope you will not consider it annoying))). Once again, I want to thank you for your work, through which people, or at least some of them, appears some understanding.
    1)First question. In the new versions of Marlin, when I start printing, the nozzle makes some kind of passage along the left edge of the table (bad!!!, table - russiаn terminology) termin, a few millimeters from the edge and along almost the entire length of the Y axis, and the nozzle touches the glass clamps. When editing the firmware, I deliberately reduced the size of the printing area by 5 mm. on all axes, but this did not affect the starting passage of the nozzle. Question - how do I increase the distance from the left edge for this feature?
    2)Second question. I plan to install a no filament sensor. What value should be set HIGH or LOW in the #define FIL_RUNOUT_STATE [H/L] line and is the #define NOZZLE_PARK_FEATURE drain needed?
    3)Third question. Now there are silicone struts to replace the springs, is there a point in using them. Thank you in advance for the answer and good luck to all of us!))

    • @DiyProJames
      @DiyProJames  Před 3 lety

      1. This is based on the slicing software.. Please watch this video. czcams.com/video/3J9NhwbziEY/video.html wipe line.
      2. High or low based on the filament sensor. Try both states..
      3. I have never used silicone struts. I am still using stock springs and never had to replace them as of yet...

    Looking for 4.2.7 creality board firmware in Ender3 Pro for 2.0 and higher Marlin with creality BL - have downloaded and gone through endless stacks and but am too new to make sure all settings are correct in src code (even using example file provided from Marlin). If anyone has marlin 2.0.8 or newer source code that has been compiled/used in Ender 3 pro, please let me know if you are willing to share. I have used Arduino, and sublime editor in attempts to resolve issue with probe offset for XY because of location of Creality BL on the new sprite DD. Machine controller won't allow offsets to be stored "error-too far" appears, so I hoped for easy SW fix - maybe a bin for M851 offsets?
    Hoping to get a working source code that I can learn at own pace to revise with Arduino editor.

      The firmware is pretty much the same for the microswiss or regular drive. I would do it, but I don't remember the x and y offsets for the old mount. I don't really think there was much of a difference in the mounts. Maybe 1mm off in the y direction. If you could find the x and y offset for the mount and let me know I can compile it for you. The only thing you may have to do is a e step calibration.

    Hi DiyProJames. Thank you for your time put into sharing this process, this video has helped me understand how to compile for Ender changes. I have done my best to follow your guide step by step and I keep running into 2 issues that won't allow me to finish.
    Problem one is:
    "ERROR: Config files found in directory /Users/xxxxxx/Desktop/Bugfix-2.0/Marlin-bugfix-2.0.x/config. Please move them into the Marlin subfolder."
    I tried to move "them" to another folder but the message repeats when I compile again. I'm not clear on which Marlin subfolder to move them to.
    Problem two is:
    "Environment Status Duration
    ---------------------- -------- ------------
    STM32F103RET6_creality FAILED 00:00:14.806"
    I really don't understand why this is an issue because I've checked over and over for spelling and capitalization and spacing for this in the platform.ini tab and from what I can tell it look like it's right.
    I hate to bother you with this but I don't know who else to ask.

    I am having an odd issue, and have searched around, others have seen this, but I tried all the fixes and none worked for me. I have an Ender 3, BLTouch, 4.2.7 silent board, everything works perfectly no issues with Creality firmware. I installed Micro-Swiss DD, and because it wants me to change the X/Y Offsets I have to compile custom firmware. Followed your guide to the letter. Everything works BUT the BLTouch wont drop its sensor. When I turn the printer on it goes through a self check just fine, but if I home the axis X and Y are fine when it goes to check the Z in the middle it just lowers till it crashes into the bed, BLTouch never drops the sensor? What am I missing? Note: Some of the fixes I found will make the behavior different where it will just not lower when checking the Z but never continues past that. Thanks in advance for any advice, I feel like I must be missing something simple...

I took it out, swapped the 2 pins on the 3 pin connector and hooked it direct to the 4.2.7 board. BOOM All is working perfectly now. Thanks for all you do, truly invaluable!
