Astros fan here, Judge is such a class act. I loved this guy in Pinstripes and I’ll love him wherever he goes. Such a wonderful player and a big heart for the sport. MVP indefinitely. GGs to all the Yankees fans! Congrats on a great season 🤝✌️

Many fans whine and complain about management and team production, but all I have to say is Thank You Aaron Judge for giving our Yankees such an exciting season. Sadly we lose again to the Astros who were the better team and winning for a better manager. It was a heckuva run this year especially Judge's 62 HR breaking Roger Maris' record. He would never tell you but I think he was burnt out and was a non-factor offensively in the ALCS. There were too many variables with this team to list that went wrong at the worst time. The reporter questioned him on this and said "so you're not in that same mindset?" and he realized what he let slip and just smiled and said he's never been a free agent before. Judge just had a moment of accidental true honesty and let slip that he in no way is set on coming back to the Yankees and has a great chance of going elsewhere.

The majority of these players expect “good” contracts, but cannot produce and then wander off into free agency wondering what went wrong. Judge is a magnificent player, but when the squad needs him the most he is nowhere to be found. Truthfully, Bader was the only guy on the team who played well throughout the four games. I have said this since 2019’s ALCS loss, Boone is not fit to be a manager for the Yankees. The Steinbrenner’s need to replace Cashman.
He had to wear too much of the burden of carrying that team. You look at Altuve who was 0 for the whole playoffs at one point but the team around him was still capable of going undefeated. The issues to fix are right there in front of your face and if you stop making excuses you can direct that energy towards resolving them

In addition to the mammoth amount of money he'll command for his monster season, he'll probably want 10 years. He's 30 years old. How many productive seasons will he have because his contract becomes an albatross to whatever team signs him? And which Judge will show up in the playoffs. The one at the regular season this year or the one in the playoffs?
