notes: cut tote on fold, straps need to be longer(i did 30 inches, 2.5 inches into bag, 3 in from side seams)
besides those changes this was a super great tutorial, my bags turned out super cute!! i never would have thought to sew those triangles to give it that subtle boxy shape. tyyy

Super easy to make!! I don’t see that often but when I do I love it. I’ve made about 5 or 6 of these for myself, family, and friends. Really easy. Here’s a tip, if you want it to stand up on its own/be more sturdy. Add interfacing, I used the sew in kind rather than the iron and it was really easy for my first time doing it. :)

Just made an itty bitty one for my 18 month old grand daughter! It's so cute!!! Ended up about 6" tall, 5" wide, and 2" deep. It's a shoulder strap snack bag!

You definitely could add interfacing if you want it to be sturdier but I typically don't for tote bags! Occasionally I'd add a small rectangle of support at the bottom to at least support the weight of objects in the bag
